If only there were a way to get all of the content you want for free.
Well, not all by any means, but my local library doesn't cost me a dime. Well, I pay my property taxes...
Now, I cancelled my 30 day free trial of Prime a week ago, on the final day. It had charged me $16.54 IIRC, but I was refunded the second I cancelled. I got a message from Amazon asking me to explain why I cancelled. A time before I answered that there wasn't any Prime videos I wanted to watch that didn't require me to pay as much as I'd have to pay AFAIK if I wasn't subscribed. Also, I wasn't planning to buy anything, but I didn't say that. This time I didn't reply. It's still true. The one movie I want to watch would still cost me $4-5.
The only reason I like prime is the free shipping no matter how cheap the item is. Came in handy in December. I did Prime for a year and cancelled, a few years ago.
Without Prime I just wait until I get enough in my cart for free shipment and only then do I buy. They jacked that again from $25 to $35 a few months ago.
I never pay Amazon to ship me anything, period.
Amazon offered me a Vine membership a couple months ago and I accepted. I haven't asked them to send me anything free yet to review.
