Mines still says 6/23, lucky me. Before for two days my order page was giving me an internal error.

As soon as I ordered(6/03) an authorization was placed on my card.

Finally able to log on with my userID. Must be a server problem when I tried. Anyway, I'm still pending so I'm happy. Hope I get the card along with the rest of you that ordered on June 3rd.

I ordered on the 2nd. I was told that those that ordered on the 2nd and early on the 3rd should have no problem getting their card in the first batch.

I think we'll get them when we get them and the earlier you ordered the earlier you'll get it. Once someone gets theirs from Gateway we should all have a better idea of when to expect ours. Just remember, "a watched pot never boils", and that's coming from one of the most impatient people in the world! ;) :p

Dunno if any of you know... But this deal is not dead yet. I mean, you might have to wait awile but I clicked on the link and the deal is still alive. I guess you can buy a card but I think you might have to wait to get one. Tho, if you jump on it now then maybe you may get lucky? Or you can try CDW?

Yeah, I believe some in this thread mention a ship date of June 16th with overnight delivery, so I 'd expect something shortly... hopefully in the next two days.

I cancelled my gateway.com order and placed one on CDW before they hit their first shipment cap. But after calling them today and speaking with Jennifer, she said they did not in fact get any of the cards in today from ATI. :(

On a different note, here is a store in canada (US$ = $499) that HAS the X800XT IN STOCK. The resellerratings is pretty low, but it seems to stem from simply rude customer service; so they do appear to fulfill orders. But the card appears to be in fact in stock because it was updated yesterday as "in stock." Any takers?

Can I ask how you know this? Not that I don't believe it, I am just curious how you know this information. I'm sure they will be available soon, I just find it odd that there has been nothing official. I guess I am taking a page from my 3DFX days when I pre-ordered a 5500AGP(? can't remember the model now) and waited forever only to find out that they had all been recalled, etc. I think it's odd that ATI doesn't even have them for pre-order on their site. They also removed Best Buy's XT link.

I'm going to check with my CDW rep today when I place my orders.

PS: I'm talking about BBA only. I know others have been out a while.

Just wanted to update from the CDW side of things; Mike Mazrin at CDW told me they expect a couple hundred cards on 6/24. There's another ~300 expected on 6/30 (the system indicates over 500 cards on order, a couple hundred on the 24th and the rest on the 30th). According to Mike, I got in early enough that I should have mine shipped from the first set that show up on the 24th. Even if I don't make that cut, he guarantees I'll get a piece from the shipment on the 30th. According to him, because CDW is such a huge retailer, virtually wholesale, they get huge allotments, and it doesn't surprise him that not only are there 500 cards on order, but that they will all show up (i.e. won't be shorted); he's seen higher demand items in larger numbers arrive as scheduled in scheduled quantities.

Well since it came back up I placed an order about 2 hours ago. Just got an automatically generated e-mail is to confirm that Gateway has received and processed my order. My estimated arrival date is 07/15/2004. ugh!

I received a call from Gateway around noon today. They said the ETA on the cards is July 16th and asked me if I want to continue to wait or cancel the order. No harm in waiting but if something good (cough, another $300 6800GT deal, cough) comes along I'll jump on it and cancel my X800XT order from Gateway.

The long-ass thread over at Rage3d Forum indicates June 23rd as the arrival date for the first batch. So we'll see who's CSR is talking garbage soon enough.

Well that June 23rd date seems much closer to the June 24th date that CDW is giving me.
