Its interesting that a member, best known for a running joke about them running a rape dungeon is wondering why a politician willingly stepped down, going "you are all fucking idiots, but why is this guy being so persecuted, he's innocent!!! Where's my 'Merica?"

Ah, boomers never change, they really just can't understand people not being ok with people committing sexual harassment and sexual assault. Why gee, back in their day they got sexually assaulted while walking both ways uphill in 15 feet of snow! And by golly they learned to enjoy it! Its really a compliment.

In terms of money, Amazon and Bezos are two different entities. Only a retarded CEO of a publicly traded company would have the company bank account and their private bank account as the same.

Of course. My point is that amazon as a company, and Bezos as an individual, have such vast sums of money that tax incentives are pointless for them in meaningful manner. It's just more profit, and nothing to do with "will this deal be the difference between them being able to build a facility or not one at all".

As opposed to say, small business incentives where every little bit of support can be the difference between a business starting (or staying open) and failing.

But according to the Washington Post, if the project had gone thru with tax incentives, New York could have been in a profit of at least $27 billion. That profit would have come from taxes of new people moving into NYC for the new jobs that would have come from Amazon.

I have no nits to pick with De Blasio's projection of profits, but Marc Theissan, a Trump supporter, needs to pay careful attention to the irony of his headlines.

He won't face impeachment because he's already resigned / about to leave office.
The Dems sure didn't want to use that reasoning on Trump, who had already left office.
Nothing hypocritical here, no siree. This just shows that to impeach or not impeach is based on partisan politics, not the action, depending on what letter of the alphabet is in front of the name. Hypocrisy, in other words.

Are you fucking stupid? Trump WAS impeached BEFORE he left office, which was 100% about his actions. Or do you not understand how impeachment works and how he's impeached in the House and tried in the Senate? It appears that it eludes you that Trump's impeachment, where only the trial in the Senate was held after he left office, was ALL about the Action.

Now, Do you seriously think sexual assault by a state government official is an equal crime to the President's treasonous acts of leading an insurrection/an attempt to over throw the federal government and/or harm/kill our Congress members all to keep himself in power? Don't get me wrong, sexual assault is a serious crime, but not to the level of what Trump did when you put it all into the proper perspective of our government and country. Yet, Trump still hasn't been criminally charged for the shit he did... Cuomo will be charged criminally for what he did.

I believe Cuomo should still be impeached to keep him from ever holding office again.. Despite being clearly less intelligent than you I for one realize that innocent until proven guilty only applies to criminal trials and impeachment is a political, not criminal process.

I am also aware that this issue started 8 months ago, so I’m not sure on what planet an 8 month wait is a rush to judgment.

Maybe you can enlighten us.

Trump was impeached by the house while in office and then the senate majority leader deliberately chose to delay the trial until he was out of office.

Funny how often hypocrisy by other people turns out to be you just not knowing what you’re talking about.
