Nothing is going to help Cuomo, he is screwed.

Upto now there has been 9 victims that have come forward. Are we expecting a 10th, because it has quite about any new allegations since March 19th? However, it is said that it is always quite before the storm.

Combine yours with a nickel and you still dont have 2 cents to give.

See, the problem here is when you show your hand, like conservatives didn't when voting for trump, and behaving like they have for years, there's not much worth to your expressed concerns.

I'm still with him. That latest photo looks to me as a governor who visited a family hit hard and did what most governors would do, show support with hugs and with sympathy kisses. Now come on people, Cuomo was not trying to get laid here or with any of the others, he was doing what leaders do when disaster strikes, to show up. Show concern. Now I suppose if Governor Cuomo looked like Brad Pitt or Robert Redford, this lady would have insisted on hugs and kisses. And a little bump and grind. This is simply a hit job on the governor. Forces do not like him and want him out so they can get their guy in (or... their woman). This is the same Hillary hate that Hillary puts up with, just an intense hate and dislike from the very start of Cuomo's governorship which has no explanation. So easy to see thru this stunt.

I will put this here. So much for liberals that love to preach about how D politicians are working hard for the average working folks and everyone is equal. LOL.

CNN issues statement on Chris Cuomo getting prioritized COVID-19 testing (timesunion.com)

.
It isn't that Democrats are working hard for the people. Some are, some aren't, and everything in between. Cuomo is clearly one of the worst. The real issue is that ALL Republicans are working REALLY hard to fuck you and everyone else in the ass. No exceptions.

Weak as shit comebacks aside, still so funny to see you acting like anyone gives a shit what your kind think. Whatever credibility you had here was pissed away long ago, this hasn't changed.

Magats who wallow in a septic tank for fun are calling out someone who farted, then acting smug about it. Remember to smile big, bullshit.

I don't disagree, however at least one of those women said he was seriously hitting on her, asked her if she could get down with an older man, I don't remember the wording. Well, it's less than pussy grabbing Trump, who is well known to have charged into the Miss Universe dressing room to ogle naked babes, figuring as owner of the pageant it was his right. It still boggles my mind that that pile of cow dung was elected.

I figure Cuomo's "guilty" of sexual harassments. However, if that's all they have on him, if he's doing a good job otherwise, I can see why he'd not want to resign, honestly. He can always stop doing that stuff.

If he's committing serial sexual harassment, he should be gone. Leaders in organizations should be setting an example. I'm sure NY could find a competent replacement for someone like Cuomo who doesn't sexually harass people. Plus, Cuomo hasn't been doing that good of a job - counter-productive micromanaging, enabling the IDC for years to keep the Senate in republican hands, pointless pissing contests with BdB... Hardly the shining beacon of good governance.

No. He doesn't step down because, just like he felt no guilt of ego in advantaging himself sexually from the power of his position, that same arrogance of ego tells him he has no need to step down. Nobody should exercise power over others who sees himself or herself as a special case, in my opinion. He put his desires above the respect those women deserved. He is a vacuum rather than a Cornucopia.

I'm OK with this. I've never been in a position of power because I fear being in power. "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely." That's intimidating. It makes me uncomfortable to be in positions of power. I prefer to be on equal footing. I dislike doing things that affect others negatively, and try very hard not to do those things. Mario's Italian, I'm not saying he gets a pass, but it's likely part of the problem.

No criticism of you intended. I think I am less tolerant and less forgiving. But I do not believe power corrupts. I believe it corrupts those who can be corrupted by power and only such people. That just may happen to be most people. I do not believe I can be corrupted by power because I would never make the decision that I know what is best. To have power is easy. To have the wisdom to use it properly isn't. I believe that the greater ones personal sincerity, the more one seeks real truth, the less likely one is to act out of ego and to feel what is right because what is right carries with it a sense of love. Because all of my moral beliefs derive completely within me, I consider myself to be not very different than a mad man. Thus like you I try very hard not to do those things. But in the face of what I judge to be real evil I will act or hope I will, with all the power of my being. I am insane, like I said. And hence the contempt for those who act without enormous restraint. All this is rather difficult to explain. I might be enlightened or just plain mad. Hope I'm never put in a situation where I have to find out. ;)

The term for the condition you describe here is "rational".

I don't figure it's impossible to be in a position of power and retain integrity. I just fear the consequences of using that power without sufficient care and discrimination (discrimination in the positive sense), i.e. number 2 here:

  1. the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex.
    "victims of racial discrimination."

  2. recognition and understanding of the difference between one thing and another.
    "discrimination between right and wrong"
Many people are fine with power until they aren't and never realize that they have misused their power, and often very regretably.

Hell I've heard far more bitching about Cuomo from liberals. They've been saying he sucks for years on here. I'm not sure why right wingers act like this is a gotcha. Well I do, because their brains only view everything in that mode (its also why they view legit look into their behavior as though its all about the "gotcha", which interestingly I was watching the 30 for 30 on Bobby Knight's last days at Indiana and he literally bitched about the media going for a gotcha; I also didn't know he said fucked up shit about rape "if its gonna happen, then just enjoy it" back in like the 70s or maybe 80s - which interestingly there was a fuss made about it, and the Take Back The Night movement especially was not pleased - gee if only we'd kept actually listening to women and blacks for the past 40-50 years instead of after giving them a bit of relief via Title IX and the Civil Rights Rights Act and telling them to move on and get over it which let the behavior they were complaining about continue while white America tuned them back out).

Pretty much ignored this topic. But any mention of Tara Reide for Biden during this?

Cuomo was kind of a non-entity to a lot of Republicans (at least outside NY) until they saw an opportunity for some good whattaboutism, only to discover a boiling ocean of hatred that many real liberals harbor for the man. They don't know how to process it since I don't think an equivalent thing exists in their political sphere.

I know almost nothing about the guy, but I've heard nothing but hostility for Cuomo from any American source I'd consider actually leftist. Sounds as if he might be about to be held to account. Which is a lot more than ever seems to happen to any Republican.

It's hilarious, Fox is doing a one for one with regards to if they do a report about Gaetz they immediately give an update on Coumo. They are exactly the same thing you know.

JEEBUS. Cuomo is a first class dirtbag. I'll admit he had me snowed during the early stages of COVID. Based on our new standards of acceptable behavior he won't go anywhere. Personally I think he should be booted out of office.

Note to others: It's ok to stick to your moral standards even when facts on the ground change and no matter if said person is on your "team"
