That is a list of criminal convictions. Which the democrats have more than republicans. The scandals of other things, such as sexual misconduct, also are done more by democrats than republicans. I am lumping together because both statements are true. Also, don't do the logic fallacy of me pointing out that democrats historically have done these things in any invalidate that horrible things that republicans have also done. Criminal activities and scandals know no party association. Both sides have issues even if historically one side tends to at least be caught more for it. Also, I am not saying that democrats are doing it more, just they are caught more at it. I cannot make the statement that republicans that are or are not doing anything wrong while not being "caught" because it is hard to prove a negative.

They could recall him. I don't see him resigning... unless everybody turns on him and demands it. Judging from his statements (I've heard him say a few things) he doesn't have skeletons in the closet, it's mostly him coming onto women. Hey, he's an Italian guy, it's not exactly unexpected. He should know better, but I don't think he assaulted anybody. He'll probably survive this. His "brand" is damaged. I mean there was talk about him being a presidential candidate, but that looks unlikely now. For a Republican, no problemo, as we saw with Trump but he's a Democrat.

A recall would be a voter effort. Which I am perfectly fine with. My issue with Cuomo is on his job performance surrounding the whole covid debacle with nursing homes. That is a much more concerning problem IMO. I could give too farts about any politicians' sexual stupidity so long as it wasn't rape or pedophilia.

Yeah but wasn't the problem with nursing homes simply not reporting them separately but rather listing them with just the general death pool?
My understanding is if you lived in a nursing home and died in a hospital you got counted in the general death count? Only the people who both lived in nursing homes and died in the nursing home got counted with nursing home deaths. Yeah it's a funny way to count things but it's ok because they are still being counted.

My whole problem with this story is that from everything I can find in the guy, he's just generally a dick and a bully. Somehow in society if your boss is a dick or a bully all the time to everyone it's totally fine and nothing gets done but if it's it's even aittle sexual then burn the whole thing down. Like why aren't people pissed that he's just generally a dick and a bully and asshole? Basically cuomo can belittle and insult women and make life uncomfortable as much as he wants and it's not news but if it's a little bit sexual or gender related then it's totally wrong and he needs to be fired. Like I just don't understand that logic.

It goes more than the counting, which is problematic of itself. The issue with the counting is that if you were in the nursing home, died in the nursing home, but an ambulance was "called" before you actually died then your death counts in the general pool and not as a nursing home death. Even if the person physically died inside the nursing home. That part is problematic and indicates there is probably more problems as well. The reason the death count for nursing homes was being added to the general ledgers, as per what Cuomo aid had stated, was to prevent Trump and the republicans from using those nursing home numbers as a political leverage for his policy to put sick patients in nursing homes instead of using the Mercy ship or the retro fitted stadium turned hospital.

The other issue was the decree to put covid patients into nursing homes even after the nursing homes unions and associations said it was going to cause more deaths. They asked for immunity because they knew it was going to be a problem in the future even. There are a lot more unanswered questions there and I hope a full criminal investigation reveals it all.

Also, Cuomo basically acts like a mafioso gangster boss dick. That is my opinion that I know many other share.
 
His problem among others is that he's made no friends in pursuit of his political career. Ego a powerful thing, and he has gobs so, he's going to take the long painful path down.

Well in this case the politicians' sexual stupidity seems to be text book workplace sexual harassments and in the privet sector he would have been shown the door.

The whole covid debacle with nursing homes sounds really bad. Do you have a good source you can link me with details on exactly what transpired. I am not up on that story.

This guy? Nothing. The liberal hypocrisy is high as normal. Same high end Dems calling for heads of Repubs with far less evidence, are eerily silent on this. Not the first time, wont be the last either.

For the record, he should get due process, just like anyone else. There should be no rush to judgement, and have his day. I mean if pics of kissing people is all it takes, Biden tries and tries to kiss an underage girl as she is pulling away. That would get any college boy cancelled in a heartbeat. But when there are different rules for different people, this is what happens.

Its amusing seeing right wingers claim that liberals are giving a free pass (despite blatant evidence both in this thread and basically everywhere else) while they openly gloated about letting rapists not just keep their jobs but be promoted further.
