Well Fox News should be the last network stating that Cuomo should go, they’re claiming the left is not pushing him out hard enough. Guess they forgot about the leader of the republicans and former President they ignored/made excuses for the last five years.
I think he should change his party to republican and make Fox then defend him.
I don't watch Fox 'news', so I have no idea what they are saying, nor do I care. I'm also past the point of caring what republicans do or anything about Trump (aside from hoping he gets nailed for tax fraud).

This is the difference between Democrats and Republicans - Democrats hold people accountable, Republicans nominate their corrupt sexual harassers as President, then turn them into a cult leader.

Cuomo is a bully and needed to go years ago.

Privileged white male syndrome is not unique to conservatives.

This is how the news always works, sex and sensationalism win out over governance issues.

Eh, I don't think it's even that complicated. The nursing home scandal doesn't have new developments right now, so it's on the back burner (news-wise) until something news-worthy about it comes out. On the other hand, another aide coming out with allegations is new. So, the news is likely to report on it over the nursing home scandal.

Although, I would suspect that any decent news site would still mention the nursing home scandal in the article on misconduct allegations as it would allow them to link to their stories on the nursing home scandal and potentially generate more ad hits. :p

Fox News is taking the approach of calling him a "predator", and also is seeming to cast similar aspersions on Biden (The headline: What About You, Joe?). On Fox News, it’s apparently the biggest story in the country right now. They think Cuomo’s accusers "deserve to be heard". Who would have thought that they would be so opposed to this kind of behavior?

Yep, the snowflakes of Team Treason would like everyone to know that these assault free allegations need to be addressed! The same crowd that howled over witnesses being called at evidence saturated impeachments. The same crowd that stood up for Boof Kavanaugh's accuser by issuing death threats and causing her family to have to move.

Does this mean they noticed everyone was laughing at them over their anguish regarding plastic toy genitals? This is the next facepalm for GOP TV?

How many witnesses did the Democrats call in the 2nd Impeachment? A dozen ? a hundred? a thousand? C'mon ass clown it was up to the Democrats in the Senate to call witnesses in the 2nd Impeachment and up to the Democrats in the House to have witnesses in the 1st one.

0, and the actions he took probably saved countless lives.
Either you believe this and you're too stupid to have a discussion with. Or you really don't and you're too mendacious to have a discussion with. Either way, there is no need to continue this discussion. Apologies, if that was harsh. But, you're just not worth it.

Is there a more credible source than an opinion article. I make it a practice to avoid them and I did not find anything else on this. Would not doubt it but don't see any proof yet.

TBF, the editorial was authored by the MIami Herald Editorial Board and not an individual so I would put more credence into what they write without necessarily citing it. Having lived in FL for the past 6+ year I believe them.

Heh. Trump's maskless Rose Garden fete was demonstrably a super spreader event, so he then scaled it up to thousands of raving devotees at dozens of rallies across the country. Not to mention him inspiring the maskless morons to be morons in the first place.

Both the NY Senate leader and House speaker (both Democrats) are calling on Cuomo to resign. If these charges deem true, including fudging the states nursing home virus numbers, he needs to step away. He can make up a health reason for all I care, but he needs to let someone else run the state. He’s lost his moral authority. There are plenty of good politicians in New York state who could pursue his preferred policies - rather than looking like another sleazy career politician. .

I remember when Fox News said trump accusers deserve to be heard. Didn’t you?

Biden and sexual assault? You have to believe her until you don't. Right Kamala?
Ralph Northam?
Justin Fairfax?

Yeah I lived in South Florida for several yeah and the Herald is fine. I make it a practice to never read any opinion articles as they just are not held to the same standard(or they would not be in the opinion section). I also saw no one else covering this so will keep an eye out for more sources.

I'm old enough to remember when Gary Hart had to leave the race for just having an affair. You trash worship serial philanderer Trump. And Bill Clinton got investigated for a consensual blowjob and had already been deemed unfit for office for being too promiscuous.

You probably think Biden is a pedo, so we know your brain is fucking melted. How does Kamala even come into the conversation you fucking unevolved neanderthal, and I don't mean to insult neanderthals.

GQP business model

1. Get super rich donor money
2. Use super rich donor money to buy brainwashing of common folk and get their votes
3. Use common folk votes to fuck over common folk and give to super rich.
4. GOTO 1

So you will have the stimulus package that is WIDELY supported by the public, Republicans AND Democrats... common folk and yet you will have every single representative of the Republican common folk to vote it down. In direct opposition to the people that they are supposed to support.
Not to worry though, its not something a little brainwashing cant cure, give it a few years and they'll be ripe for another fucking.

Well, AFAIK he didn't rape any of them. He has an unfortunate weakness in that he can't keep himself from coming onto his winsome female assistants. And admittedly, they are for the most part very pretty attractive women, judging from the photos they're showing on TV. It's his undoing now. It seems that he blew it with the underreporting of nursing home deaths, too. His career looks to be pretty destroyed in terms of public office. Will he resign? Maybe not. He's trying to hold onto his office. He came onto these women, touched some in what they say were inappropriate ways, but that's of course sometimes pretty subjective. He appears to have been trying to seduce some, according to some of these women. Again, this isn't Cavanaugh level stuff and he's now on the SCOTUS. IMO, he's an innocent compared to DJ Trump, but his erstwhile supporters have higher standards than Trump's by miles.

I haven't seen any allegations of rape. The big issue is when he is on the job and making sexual overtures that is the problem. Take for example the "sausage" video of him years back at a campaign luncheon. He and a reporter were flirting. Both were ok with it. The issue isn't that both were OK with it, but what the others around them took of it. Every place I've ever worked the HR hammered home that unwanted sexual harassment can be indirect as well as direct. If the average person did that at a work luncheon these days and someone sitting around them were offended, they would probably be fired for it. Personally though, I think the sexual harassment issue is a distraction from the bigger issues of what Cuomo has done in terms of worse things relating to his job performance.

I'll just say that Cuomo was/is the head honcho. Expecting his behavior to be congruent with what HR expects from the rank and file of an organization is a stretch. I'm not trying to excuse him. I'm just suggesting that judging him by the standards that you (or HR) expects from employees is ludicrous. I don't doubt that he's guilty of consciously wanting to fuck his staff and actually advancing on attempts.

I think there's something else that isn't being mentioned. He's Italian, and there's gonna be some cultural influence on his personality and actions.

I don't disagree that being Italian, a New Yorker, and coming from a powerful family all directly influence his actions. I just don't think they are good excuses. I can understand it, but I don't excuse it. Like I can understand when someone gets mad at a co-worker for being an ass and wants to punch them in the face. I understand the anger, but I won't excuse them for it if they act upon that emotional desire. It is really no different here. It is one thing in a private setting and another in a public office setting. Also, for reference, my wife's family, along with most of her home country, tends to like to grab your junk (regardless of gender) when they meet you for the first time as well as plant a kiss on you. Something done in private and not public though.

I will still state that the sexual actions of Cuomo is a distraction from the main issues with him.

Honestly I kind of don't care about the cuomo story. Seems like a reprimand is in order. Not sure about resignation for this kind of small, non criminal or non treasonous stuff. If he's being alleged to have committed sexual assault, go after him. Sexual harassment however in my experience can be more of a gray area (kind of like other forms of workplace bullying). Not saying what he did to those women or his work environment was good and should go without punishment, but again it can be a gray area as to what's harassment and what's just being a dick and an asshole.
