3 dead, 3 wounded (one of those in critical condition) in Oklahoma City shooting. Happened in the Whiskey Barrel Saloon. Alcohol and guns. What could possibly go wrong? Hmm... looks like the possibly happened.
OK is a state where most people can carry open or concealed almost anywhere, but not in bars. Looks like the legality part made no difference here.

6 including a police officer in downtown Louisville this morning. Shooter is down. Victims have all been taken to hospital. Don't know their condition yet.
edit: body/injured account amended to say at least four people were dead, and at least eight others were injured and transported to the hospital. 2 of the injured are police, one of them is critical. Shooter is dead. As eelw says below, shooter was a former employee.

Shooter was 23 yr-old white male.. 3 officers wounded. The critical one was shot in the head but is out of surgery and in critical but stable condition. He had only been an officer for 10 days. 
Jeez, what can make you be so disgruntled a worker as to shoot people when you're only 23?

Apparently the shooter had been a summer intern for 3 yrs at that bank and was then kept on as a permanent employee and either had been or was about to be let go.. And he livestreamed the attack. He apparently left a note or notes that he was going to do this, but those may have been left this morning, I don't know.

A bullet struck their 5-year-old daughter, and she passed away within 30 seconds of the incident. Investigators are doing their best to find out who did this.

4 dead, more than 20 wounded in Dadeville, AL (pop about 3000) at a dance studio during a Sweet 16 birthday party. Edit: now they're saying 4 dead 15 wounded. 5 critical.
Edit: now they're saying at least 28 injured. I do not know if all those were shooting injuries.
That's about all I see out there so far information wise.
And, for anyone who is keeping score, this is the 162nd mass shooting in the country this year - that's in the last 106 days. 162 in 106 days. It's got to stop. We have to make it stop.

Right, with 1 in 5 involved or know someone involved in gun related crime and some people now involved in 2 mass shootings, yup perfectly normal.

When you have more guns because of more gun violence then you create an extremely paranoid society and... paranoid people within that society. So dang much paranoia going on that stuff like THIS happens.
THIS being the cops at your door, and you are not sure if they are real cops, and so you bring your gun to the door, and then you open the door, and the cops see you and your gun, and then...... shoot you dead.
Legally and justifiably shoot your brains out, exactly as law enforcement training directs cops to do.
Guns not only create violence and death, guns also create a shit-load of public paranoia. And even massive amounts of paranoia within law enforcement as well. We are seeing more and more of this paranoia every day.
So you have your gun rights. And you have your gun(s). And you have your second amendment rights. And also, you have your paranoia. And that paranoia is what gets you killed, legally gunned down like a dog in the street by the legitimate police. Funny thing.... the 2nd amendment doesn't mention anything about the paranoia involved with gun rights. Hmmmm....

He went to 115th Street instead of 115th Terrace.
Yup with over 150 mass shootings now, impossible to give news coverage for all of them.

In his case being told he was being fired. It's often a tough pill to swallow. It's happened to me many times and I don't remember fantasizing about killing whoever decided to axe me.
