I don't know what happened to him after he made Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore (All time classics in my book, seriously!), but he's been doing but making nothing but god awful films since he turned 30 or so. He's never funny on talk shows either. Shrug. Little Nicky was pretty good though I remember, not nearly on the same plane as Madison and Gilmore but funny none the less.

As for seeing Jack and Jill, no one to blame but yourself. Sorry!

I hate to dogpile, but seriously, you have to be a mouth-breathing idiot to spend money to see that movie in theaters. You'd not only have to have avoided seeing any preview, reading any review or hearing anything about the film, you'd also have to have no idea of the plot and no knowledge of Adam Sandler's movie history for the last decade. There were like 50 warning signs that Jack and Jill would be an atrociously awful movie, and you willfully ignored them all and spent money to go see it... and then you want sympathy from us for your idiocy? People like you are the ONLY REASON Adam Sandler still has a career, and for those of us who aren't completely retarded, that's a pretty damning strike against you. I mean, Jesus Christ, anyone with a working brain would immediately understand that this is the sort of film that if your wife asks you to see, you have solid legal grounds to get the marriage annulled. There is literally no good reason to spend money on this... and you did. Congratulations.

Not that you're hopeless... You've realized your mistake, and I hope you work to correct it. But if we see a thread from you in six months titled "How does Adam Sandler still find work?" about his latest atrocity that you felt compelled to waste money on, then it's entirely on you. I hope, for your own sake, that you learn from this experience.

Um, he is a one trick pony.

And there is only so many times you can "ride" that pony before the cops tell you to stop.

Seriously though? He IS a moron to go in the first place, but if someone is STUPID ENOUGH to pay to see it, and STILL does not like it........

The last Adam Sandler movie I watched in theater was Big Daddy, and never again after that. I tried to watched Just Go With It with my wife on TV and we turned it off after 5 min. He's completely lost it, though he's still got a lot of fans.

And iirc you can ask for a refund at the theater if you dislike the movie and walk out of it early.

Big Daddy
Happy Gilmore
Billy Madison
Funny People
Waterboy
Zohan
The Longest Yard
50 First Dates
Anger Management
Mr. Deeds
The Wedding Singer

All good movies.

I don't understand how anyone could misconstrue that this movie would be anything worthwhile to watch, let alone pay money for.

When I went to see Immortals last Friday I looked over the RT reviews of the movies that were out at the time and laughed when at least then Jack & Jill literally had a 0%.

Never seen that before.

It was so obvious it would suck just from the name and poster let alone the commercials. I cannot fathom why someone would actually pay to see this pile.

It was an Adam Sandler movie that made me decide to never go to the cinema unless there is something I want to watch is actually on.

The movie was 'Big Daddy', and some friends at college suggested going to the cinema and seeing what was on. They picked this. I nearly gnawed my own hand off at the uber-corny scene in it near the end.

I have 'Little Nicky' on DVD though.

About a Boy >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Big Daddy.

Looks as though we have another Ownage of the Year candidate. "morans". LOL.
Looks like we do indeed. But it's not Keith. It's the person who started a thread in which literally everyone who responded called him an idiot, who then attempted to divert attention away from himself by making fun of a misspelling which just happens to be a frequently used meme on this forum. What's next up your sleeve? "Beef doesn't come in alternator sized blocks, there's no treadmill big enough for an airplane, .9999... can't be the same as 1, and better Nate than lever is just a sentence fragment. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go camp on line for the next Rob Schneider movie; I'm in the mood for something challenging."

We have indeed been pwned.
