Someone explain to me how those fake voter registrations will actually affect the election? It's not like a non-existent person can actually cast a ballot.

I missed those. I would LOVE to see the citations. Anyone making that kind of statement... string them up. Care to dig up some linkage?
- From 2004Mr. O'Dell drew criticism of his company in August when he sent an invitation to a fund-raising party that said, "I am committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year." He said he had not written it himself, though he declined to say who had, and intended only to sign a "party invitation."

As for negative votes, wasn't just FL I guess (I recall seeing an article on Washington Post, but I can't find it in the archives. Looking for better sources)

That's a dumb argument. Just because the state isn't a battleground or the fraud doesn't affect the outcome, it is okay to commit voter registration fraud?
Isn't there anything Obama supporters won't say or do to justify their support? That's the thing that bugs me most about Obama. His supporters are just blind and give Obama a pass on any and everything.

Nuch ado about nothing? Coast to coast fraudulent activity? Enterprise-wide corruption? At best ACORN management neglects its duties. That doesnt sound like nothing to me.
Republican organization committing vote fraud? Okay... prove it. I am more than happy to throw them under the bus too.
PS: Proof isnt a Rolling Stone article, some kook website, etc. Show me a major media new story that has a conviction, a probe that yielded results, hell even an investigation by public officials. So far I havent been shown it, and everytime I ask, I get some bullshit answer that deflects from the question... or "its not the preponderance of evidence but the serioiusness of the charge" bullshit.
Well, ACORN has both serious charges and evidence of fraud... and now someone trying to vite because of ACORN fraud. That is another popular argument to ignore ACORN's activities... its just poor idiot employees trying to pad their paychecks. Really? This guy tried to commit voter fraud based on ACORN registrations.

The vast majority of these fake voter registrations never get a ballot to cast anyway. Elections officials tend to do pretty good due diligence in cleaning out the voter rolls. If they didn't, we wouldn't even know about this issue, now would we?
Which is why this topic is useless.
Yeah, discussing and pointing out voter fraud is "useless".
But still, he breezed into Ohio election offices - the state allows early voting for president - reregistered with a fake address and cast a paper ballot, officials said.
It's not like voter fraud in Chicago hasn't been happening for the last 48 years either. It's just something the Dems conveniently like to overlook. I'll grant you IllinoisOriginally posted by: Vic

The Obama campaign is now distancing itself from Acorn
 Come on now - who didn't see this coming? It seems at every turn there is another associate or organization that BHO has to distance himself from and/or suggest they weren't what he thought they were... and still some of you want a person like that to lead our country? An abysmally pathetic judge of character is BHO.
Since some of you still think it isn't "fraud" until someone actually votes....

Awesome, bout time Dems learned from the Republicans with their criminal tactics and beat them at their own game

You can't take one without the other, its all about the voting process and how effective it is at reflecting the truth.

You call this thread of yours "participation"? Well, I guess coming from the guy that mocks people for using financial definitions of terms in finance discussions, this isn't surprising.

Please. A Rolling Stone article isn't good enough for you, but I'm sure if Sean Hannity said it, you'd be all over it. You after all believe there's a massive media conspiracy at the highest levels spreading misinformation to help liberals. Tell you what - I'm going to dismiss any information I see on ACORN as a massive media conspiracy against liberals. Damn, it's fun being able to cherry pick my news!

Okay... you do that. Nevermind Rolling Stone is not a news organization. Someone above linked to the New York Times. They have my attention as they linked to "agruably" a credible news source. You dont get my attention because, well, you are an ass with his head in the sand.
PS: Not a fan of Hannity. I dont necessarily disagree with his politics, but he cant argue for shit.

It's great being accused of having my head in the sand by a tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorist that thinks the media is in cahoots to distort the news for liberals. Great stuff.
