After being slapped in the face daily for more than two years as a live-and-let-live American, and after encountering some examples of the Trump Base in public who confirmed my suspicions about them, I broke down and bought the "Make America Great Again" sweat-shirt depicting Trump with a Glock blowing his brains out.

My friends -- I no longer have nor want any GOP friends -- tell me not to wear the shirt in public. But on days when that Piece of Filth disturbs me more than I can bear, I don the shirt to make local errands. It has been very revealing in the reactions it provokes. I saw one big bruiser of a guy with a duck-dynasty beard wince and grimace as though he was about to cry. So I opened my coat, glared at him and gave him my best Jack Nicholson grin. Cathartic!

Now I see I want more of these shirts. There are many Anti-Trump sweat-shirt web-sites, with products that say "Make America Think Again" and "Not My President" or "I'm from USA -- not Dumbfuckistan" (showing red and blue states). But I cannot find any shirts that are offensive enough.

There are days when you just want to spit in someone's face, you don't know who that someone might be, and your COPD is in remission for inhaling Spiriva.

Who knows where I can buy the most offensive Anti-Trump sweat-shirts to be found?

Not wanting any friends with different views than you. You're well on your way to being an evangelical leftist cultist. I feel your rage, venting on the internet how you could just spit in someone's face. And anti-Trump clothing, holy shnikies, move over Chuck Norris, it is time for BonzaiDuck memes... You're a very tough guy, a Gillette user, I'm sure.

I can't speak for him, but I'm happy to have friends who have different views... so long as they believe truth, science and accountability matter. So moderate conservatives are fine, but Trump bootlickers are not.

Truth is America is flourishing under Trump

Truth is, he's crammed a lot into a few years in office, getting new trade deals passed in the first couple years, something the swamp before couldn't do in years and didn't create in our best interest.

Fact is unemployment is down, jobs are up, wages are up, workforce participation is up, illegal immigration is down.

I'm willing to bet the truth of it is that you cannot tell me one way your life is worse since Trump has been elected, it is all internet melodrama.

FACT: ~20%+ of the well over a billion plus Muslims are ultra conservatives it's-ok-to-stone-a-woman types, that's hundreds of millions. 78% of British muslims thought the Danish cartoonists that drew Mohammad deserved to be prosecuted. Throwing this one in here to see how well you respond to facts. These people are anti-LGBT rights, this is a fact.

Fact, the liberal media has been repeatedly biased and incorrect in Trump coverage.

Look, you and I may not agree on a lot, but the OP is an over the top radical sounding type we should be worried about. That's a lot of passive aggressive anger and a sign of someone incapable of existing in a society of opinions that differ than his. I don't want to hear about another leftist going crazy and starting a riot for not getting his way.

The problem is that while these kind of things get people talking, it isn't any talking that will do any good. You aren't going to magically convince someone to not support Trump, these things will just further make them think they are justified in their beliefs. I won't even talk politics to anyone locally. It's painfully obvious that this just has to play out however it is going to play out. If it's another 4 years, then this country deserves whatever may happen. The scary part is, I can honestly see someone worse than Trump next because no one has learned a thing.

A bit too general, and I'm not an ideologue. Ideologies are toolboxes.

For the rest, I notice there is this self-righteous comment that I'm somehow not well-rounded for rejecting alternative views.

Today's GOP Trumpie Base doesn't have views. They have delusions.

It goes to this. Healthy dialog in a family for instance requires that the metacommunication eventually stops. If it doesn't, the communication is sick. Further, one eventually reaches a point where there is no argument to be made by one side, unless it is based on falsehood, cherry-picked evidence that excludes crucial facts, and deceit. I could almost say that if you believe the world is flat, you shouldn't be allowed to use a GPS. If you don't accept Boyle's Law and other scientific theories, you shouldn't be allowed to drive a car. After all -- you don't believe in it.

So where are those offensive sweatshirt ideas? This thread was about finding the most offensive sweatshirts, so I can provoke someone in public to give me a chance to defend myself. [And splatter someone's brains all over the concrete].

The real culprits here are people ;who didn't recognize Trump as the malignant narcissist that he is. If they did, then they hate America. Period. You can't put this type of criminal F*** in the White House unless you hate your country.

Maybe a few moments in contemplation could save you some money. Trump and all the people who support him are going to soon be dead for untold billions or trillions of years.

And then imagine how Trump and his supporters got to be who they are. These are among our most miserable people, people whose lives are filled with fear and hate. They are as they are because they have been brutalized. And here you come wishing them more of the same. The damage that can do them has already been done.

The real issue, I think, is that we haven't dealt with our own brutalization and are seeking pay back. You used to lean conservative and maybe there is guilt there, self recognition, you would rather not face. One big reason you don't want to hate people who aren't good people is because we haven't always been good people either and we may use hate of the other to hide our own shame. So if you forgive yourself, and you deserve to, then you have to forgive others too.

You have evolved a great deal from the darkness into which we are all born. They haven't been so lucky.

I live in a conservative area of our state and have a few of these that I like to wear when I'm in a good mood and going somewhere.

Here's an observation.

In California, Trump lost with something like 38% versus 62% for HRC. The votes of everyone in California weren't worth diddly squat. I can't even imagine how you would weight those votes. So not only did the winning portion lose, but the Trumpie portion also lost in one or more ways. For instance, Trump has a hard on for California. Whether this derives from being rejected by USC film school in his youth, I can't say. Maybe the long-haired sissy hates hippies. We're not all hippies here, and I thought that was a dying breed. But depending on who brings the votes in, there is influence for this or that state, and CA lost its influence. It wouldn't matter whether the winner was a "D" or an "R": more influence is better than less.

Even so, I was so resentful given Trump's sore-winner behavior that I began to think of how I could make people suffer for their choices. Yet, Trumpies here were merely cheerleaders, voting against the interests of the state, or so it could be argued. But I chose to boycott every establishment with which I do business whose owner was a Trump supporter. I cashiered my car mechanic, and terminated my dentist of fifteen years. We also took one of my brothers out of the family trust, and told our cousin up in WA not to show up down here: he'd have ten seconds to disappear after he heard us rack the shotgun.

Now it may be true that such a boycott is ineffectual, or has limited effect depending on your personal relationship with the proprietor and the degree with which you coordinate with others. Even so, I feel better if only those opposing Trump get my money for anything from health-care to donuts.

The question remains, how do you vet people as either pro or con Trump? You have to use trick questions. No businessman will be straight with you. Right away, they realize the consequences of answering a straightforward question. They all want all the business they can get, and if they know what you're doing and that you'd otherwise boycott them, they'll cheat you (and one did just exactly that).

One way to vet such businesses is to show up wearing one of these offensive shirts. You can tell by the look in their face and their demeanor. As soon as you've made a determination, you can either cut bait or stay.

But whatever you think, there must be plenty of us who feel that voting isn't enough, contributing isn't enough, volunteering isn't enough. And there's nothing else to do when that Degenerate Stupid PIG-Fuck Traitor is in your face, every day, on the news. You want to kill somebody! At least, you can pick and choose those with whom you might worship, with whom your children play, and with whom you do business.

Maybe this is what the Russians want. But it's pretty stupid for people to vote for a degenerate like Trump and expect both respect for him and respect for themselves. Don't give them any respect. Don't give them any money. Shun them in church, shame them in public.

Maybe, if there's a civil war, you can do a lot more.

Old broad in a cute shirt. I suppose you now want to argue about weather or not she's angry?
Or are you trying to equate the two situations? If so you're going to have to splane to me how the old girls shirt is offensive to anyone that isn't a rabid Trump hater. I exclude that group because they aren't rational. If you need that explained, read the OP.
The woman in question took what was intended as a direct insult by Hillary Clinton and owned it. Her shirt isn't insulting, she isn't demeaning others. It's acceptance, not anger, and that's why I liked it.

The shirt speaks for itself. Your internal rationalization of the intent does as well.

I suggest you read up on what HRC actually said.

He's really reaching, huh? It's like what Michael Moore said- Trump is what happens when you use your vote as an anger management too.

Get a t-shirt of and aborted baby with a pic of Trump and the caption "if only...'. wear a hat and a black mask over your face. Carry a baseball hat and go hunting for MAGAs. Be proud and show the world how you really feel. Flaunt those 1st amendment rights, baby!

'Deplorables' are not adorable in any way, shape or form. It ain't cute and it ain't funny.
That's an opinion based on your own personal hate, and it doesn't tell me how that shirt is insulting or demeaning. You would have to go through some pretty serious mental gymnastics to come up with any sort of logic other than "I hate Trump and anyone that voted for him, so I'm offended".

The cheese guy was trying to prove that I was being disingenuous by repeating my remarks about that shirt. It didn't work because there is a vast difference between trying to be as insulting as possible (per the op) and taking an insult and making it a positive. It's almost unbelievable to me that anyone would try to defend that position.

Dude, I have no "personal hate".

And I'll say it again:

'Deplorables' are not adorable in any way, shape or form. It ain't cute and it ain't funny. It really is that simple.

Please explain to me how that shirt is insulting or demeaning to anyone. I'll wait.

Sure Green, since this seems to be a case of you not actually reading what HRC said.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basket_of_deplorables?wprov=sfla1

You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. (Laughter/applause) Right? (Laughter/applause) They're racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic – Islamophobic – you name it. And unfortunately, there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people – now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets their offensive hateful mean-spirited rhetoric. Now, some of those folks – they are irredeemable, but thankfully, they are not America.

HRC specifically called half of Trump supporters deplorable and provided other words to define who she meant. Many on the right decided to "own" the title in an obvious attempt to "trigger" some libtards, and that's the case even with Conservatives who are not part of who HRC was referring to.

It's that simple. Being a proud deplorable means you're a real POS, trying to trigger some libs, or both.

Maybe you can appreciate the context of the apparel now. It's really no different than the other shirts discussed in the thread.

Also, I didnt think you were insincere, just standard do-as-i-say-not-as-i-do Conservative.

What's unbelievable is that this information is readily available to anyone online, yet you still needed this explained to you.

So, ask yourself, which half of the Trump supporters do you associate with? If youre a racist, xenophobic, homophobic dude, then by all means, own it. Just know the real reason why you are.

If you're not, then ask yourself why you would want to be proud to support those who are.

Either way, triggering some snowflakes was the point of owning the word, maybe you've forgotten the last presidential campaign already, but others haven't.

Oh... Wow man... you're like... soooo kewl. You showed those MAGA people. I bet they went home and cried themselves to sleep.

Thanks for making a difference, we salute you and all your coolness.

Jesus fuck is this a high school instagram blog or a tech forum?

It's always funny hearing this type of shit too, because I guarantee you're the type of person that would easily get the shit kicked out of them.

He needed suggestions on where to buy anti-Trump apparel, for real. This thread isn't a desperate cry for attention and people telling him how kewl he is, I'm sure of it.

That's a very good explanation. Well thought out, well constructed, and right on point.
But,
I disagree with the the basic concept . You're attributing a negative connotation based on your beliefs, I'm doing the same thing but giving the woman the benefit of the doubt. I'll also point out that her shirt isn't insulting or demeaning as it's not directed at anyone but the woman wearing it.
