I'm really not even a little bit concerned and don't understand why the USA really gives a shit except for our stupid "world police" policy. We shiuld jsut let Japan and South Korea deal with this since they are the oens affected, not us.
 
Let's get past the missile thing and think about what NK is really thinking.

Kim Jong Il may be a controlling communist freak, but he's not a maniacal lunatic or a stupid dumbass West media make him out to be. He's not starting any war or aiming to kill people with missiles. He knows that'd be an utter suicide.

It's more of a political move. He's probably doing it to demand more attention, gain political foothold or test the new administration of US. It'll be interesting to see what NK does for the upcoming months.

I feel the same way even though I don't live on the west coast. 😉

But seriously if they want to be able to place their own satellites who are we to stop them?

There are enough countries with the ability to make nukes and have these types of missiles that I don't see why we should worry over another one.

I found that strange.
Both networks announced the launch, then CNN was talking about it and it switched to "black in America' . Then I flipped to Fox and Geraldo was talking and it changed to some pre-recorded program.

If I was a conspiracy nut I would say that someone told them to shut up.

No, there really aren't a lot of countries with that capability.. and most of those who do have it are our friends.. or at least not threatening to wipe us off the face of the earth.

Have they said anywhere exactly what kind of satellite it is they are putting up ? Weather, communication, test ?

 
Just saw the headline. Who gives a fuck. Like the country can do a fucking thing anyway. And that's assuming they did not actually want to launch a satellite.
