darn socialized roads!

Exactly. The country would be so much better if all the roads were privatized. Instead of paying a flat fee to the city to maintain the roads, you would only get a bill for the roads you drive on. I have no job and shitloads of free time, so I'm totally down with paying road fees to 54 different companies. :awe:

So you have no problem if the state is socialist?
Most people love socialism. Cheap roads, cheap education, free healthcare, old age pension, environmental protection agency, military, NASA, "free obama money", etc. It's only the top 1% who seem to bitch about it and demand things like medicare be scrapped. God damn old people, just fucking die already.

Really? Could you point out the tenets that are the same as republicans?
lol I posted the same thing in a previous thread. It really pisses off liberals when you point out that Hitler would probably be a democrat if he lived in the US. His anti-smoking campaign was quite successful :)

...

The 25 Points of Hitler's Nazi Party
[snip]
.

You post that as if you expect that non of them sound like positions of the Republican party. Whereas in truth about a third to half of them sound Republican, and about a third to half sound democrat, and the rest sound far out there neither party philosophically. Read it yourself. Distrust of media (damn liberal media), distrust of immigrants and wanting a crackdown on immigration, Christianity first, all income that doesn't arise from work be abolished sounds like getting rid of any form of welfare, very nationalistic, non-citizens deserve less rights. All those which are in those tenets are Republican viewpoints.

In the end it holds true that the Nazi party was far right. I'm not saying that republicans are nazis or wanna be. I'm pointing out that saying national socialism is similar to Democrats is extremely wrong because one is on the right one is on the left. Funny thing is that Democrats today aren't even very far left, they're closer to center.

When you are throwing out terms like "right" and "left," you're telling only half the story. The political spectrum is not linear. The Nazi's may have been far right socially, but they were very left fiscally. Personally, I prefer the opposite.

All of my friends, coworkers and the rest of the country feel the exact same. Whenever we get together and at lunch at work it will eventually be brought up by somebody..."What did that fucker do today? Did you get any more of your friends and family to register so we can stop this?"

You have no idea how much we've donated and gotten others to register. Mock if it makes you feel better but we're strong, united and highly motivated. Fuck Obama.

If doing our patriotic duty via the political and voting process to stop tyranny gets their attention then something is seriously wrong with this country.

Nah, its the sheet wearing and rifle waving while spewing some of your more flowery talking points that gets their attention.

tells me we're destined to make the same mistake the Russians did.
What's that saying? History repeats itself?

Give me a break.

If doing our patriotic duty via the political and voting process to stop tyranny gets their attention then something is seriously wrong with this country.

Right.... it's tyranny that's sweeping the offices of this country. If anything, it's hyperbole that's sweeping the political process and stifling any meaningful debate.

Word of advice: put down the pipe.

You Wing Dings were silent all during the last Administration who did much more harm to the country. I spit on you and your "We the People" bullshit.

Yeah I'm disappointed in Obama as it's obvious he's not the man to unfuck the fucking the previous Administration did to us. Unfortunately I don't think there's anybody out there that can and your "We the People" nonsense is laughable. I sure don't want any of your knuckleheads in charge.

What exactly is Obama doing differently than Bush? He's spending more, continuing the wars, Gitmo's still open, the unemployment rate is higher, home ownership is lower, Israel is still a clusterfuck, North Korea and Iran are still threats, the debt is skyrocketing...

But Boooooooosh!!!!

Why are you silent on Obama? When have you said a thing criticising him that didn't somehow blame the previous President? You take the COWARDS way out and just say that he's better than the alternative because you lack the intellectual honesty to admit Obama is a FAILURE every bit a big as Bush.

YOU should be hammering on getting someone to run against Obama in the 2012 election on the Democrat side. I think you know Obama isn't the person you hoped it would be. He duped you.. you were tricked by his ability to speak well and his feel good speeches. You had a tingle running up your leg when he spoke of change. But you are too much of a coward to admit that now that the tingling has gone away and all you have left it 'But Boooosh' and he's better than some mythical alternative that hasn't even been determined yet.

Buahahahaha, if I'm a coward then you must be the biggest chickenshit on this forum because I've at least criticized the guy I voted for where as you never have criticized either McCain or Bush. You are an extremely weak individual.

McCain isn't President.. lets try to keep up here. I've CERTAINLY criticized Bush in this forum. In my very response to you I called him a failure. This one will blow your mind.. I didn't even vote for McCain or ANY Republican candidate for President in the primaries.. Hell, I'm a registered Democrat in the State of Florida.. Hell I'll post a copy of my voter registration card if you want.. That will be changing however.

You give Obama excuse after excuse instead of calling out his failures honestly. He could pull a baby from a stroller and blow its head off and you would be saying 'At least he's not Bush!'.

One other thing Moonbeam your an idiot all your posts are incoherent mumblings that make no sense what's so ever.

Moonbeam is wiser than you can imagine, and his posts make complete sense.

Unfortunately for you, your mind must be too limited to comprehend them.

Bullshit. Point out the tenets that are republican ideals.

Only the simplest of concepts can make it through some people heads. The idea that the left, and the right occupy the same places between freedom and slavery scares them.

Question #1 for people like that 100% against anything that's socialized: are you ready for all roads in the country to be toll roads run by private corporations?

Dumdum.

There are tasks for local governments and tasks for federal government. Socialists feel that everything should be the task of the federal government. People against socialism favor the traditional system outlined in our constitution.
