It's ALL over the news, why simple guidelines are so hard to follow is beyond me. Last i checked 252 cases in my county, its public knowledge yet people just do the same. It's beyond frustrating and sure my rants get a bit out there but you have to see things to understand.

Ur brain is sick, nothing to do with church or funerals, I dont care about church or having people congregate. You think I've not seen deaths suffering? Still I never think about eating people's asses or people fucking in line etc. You are warped maybe drugs or abuse no idea what caused it. The point of my post to u was how to clean masks I guess u missed that part
 
So we passed Spain on the number of reported Corona deaths (for whatever that is worth since everyone seems to be counting differently)...

We will probably take the lead from Italy by this weekend...

To be fair, we do have about 270 million more people.
 
At this time all the numbers being bandied about by the media mean nothing. They are all incomplete and can't be accurately compared.

There's nothing strange about it. Demographic differences aside, the case fatality rate is highly correlated to whether you've overwhelmed your area hospitals and ICUs, as has happened in Lombardy, Italy and in Madrid. (Numerically also appears to be happening in both France and UK.)

You can guesstimate that the CFR will be approx. 1% of all U.S. confirmed cases, assuming we don't run out of ICU beds and ventilators in big cities. If ultimately 10M Americans test positive for COVID-19, the death toll is likely to be around 100k. Bear in mind many people will have contracted the virus and exhibited mild symptoms, without developing the disease and getting tested. So the CFR is somewhat lower than the headline number, so long as local hospital systems don't crash.

I really hope this isn't true, and they made errors when they tested. I've read about small number of people getting reinfected in China and South Korea but just assumed they made an error when testing first time or the initial testing was faulty since the tests are not 100% accurate in the first place. Add in human error and mistakes can happen. I still hope this is the case. So I'm going to take this article with huge grain of salt and choose not to believe it for now.

Yup... until we have universal testing for everyone, the infection numbers are pretty meaningless. Even the death numbers are questionable, since I'd imagine that a lot of respiratory illness deaths are getting blamed on COVID-19 as well.

From what I've read this would not be typical with a coronavirus so until further study is done I'm going to presume testing error.

I eat extremely well and my wife and I spend $150 a week for two people.

Almost all places require a positive test for you to have died for covid 19. The Covid death numbers are much higher than the official numbers.

There are many people of dying of heart attacks that are actually firing from covid 19.

Nope, but I did work on a computer with a ball mouse a week or so ago, no joke!

I donated a spare wired LED mouse to them out of pity. And because I didn't want to clean those nasty rollers inside. Felt like 1999 all over again lol.

Germany also "started slow" with their death toll but it got up fast and is now @ 2.1%.

If NY already has over 150K cases, with a 2% fatality rate, NY will have over 30K deaths. FAR worse, if hospitals get overwhelmed like Northern Italy's did.

well obviously he has more than 2 people if hes worried about toys and easter eggs. 150$ a week OK, but arnt we suppose to be shopping for multiple weeks is my point. i guess you proved it. i have a family of 6 and we eat tbones / salmon / shrimp / crab / tri tip / ground turkey / loads of eggs and milk etc etc. no idea how much we spend per week because we buy so much at once. i just wish i owned a cow so i didnt need to go buy 5 gallons of milk at a time.

yup you have some sick brain, you didnt explain why, drugs is my guess or some kinda horrible event / trauma in your life that ruined your thought process. most people dont think of those kinds of things and then say them (let alone think them with out saying them) maybe you should seek therapy.

I was over it more or less the second i posted and here ya go, just not gonna let this one go. I always express how i feel, i'm not some pussified cry baby snowflake or something who bottles up my shit. If you don't like it then idk what else to tell you buttercup. Maybe ignore me?

You live where i live, see what i see and heck you may be saying the same thing. Please for the love of tech jesus share where you live and what ya see daily. Your not in one of those uppity neighborhoods where everyone is a good little mormon following all rules? Cause if so, heres a wake up call, not everyone is doing it and well it effects EVERYONE including YOU. I see enough bad going about, i think we may never come back from the brink but i try and enforce some positive thinking.

i lived in oakland california for the first half of life, now in central cali my second half. not sure what you have seen but ive seen a lot of people die from tons of different reasons and work in a hospital every day. you think you are so tough by using crude language? seems like the opposite,
