No, guess I wasn't clear (I said 2.5 years worth of vacation time, not 2.5 years vacation time!) and you misunderstand me entirely. I worked there 2.5 years! Not 2.5 years vacation time! So, they owed me maybe 3-4 weeks vacation time, which I insisted they pay me for. And they did.i feel bad for you, you never took vacation and are so old now. cant even enjoy life during the best years of it. sorry, even if i was in a bad job and poor i took vacations all over the place, been to at least a hundred different countries even nigeria which was scary at the time. SOrry for your hard life, i guess you did it to your self tho 2.5 years vacation never took ha.
There's no reason I can't enjoy my life now. In fact, I'm perfectly healthy, basically. Thing with me is I didn't have steady jobs, didn't have a career until I was 50 or so. Just because I didn't have vacations didn't translate into hard life. There were some advantages to not being on a career path... I got to see a lot of different aspects of life, different work environments, especially when I worked the temps. It wasn't a terrible struggle because I know how to be frugal... and enjoy life in spite of not being extravagant like so many people are. Also, I had (and still have) a fulfilling vocation, a voluntary weekly gig, being a college radio DJ. Just because you've been to 100 countries doesn't mean shit. It doesn't make you smarter or wiser than me by any means. Maybe in some things but in the things that really matter, not necessarily at all.
The Beatles
Without going out of my door
I can know all things of earth
Without looking out of my window
I could know the ways of heaven
The farther one travels
The less one knows
The less one really knows
Without going out of your door
You can know all things on earth
Without looking out of your window
You could know the ways of…
