That's literally all anyone does or has on a cruise ship. It's just a giant floating vessel with tons of obscenely stupid drunk people. It was pretty lame IMO.

I have been to a few and I don't recall seeing anyone "drunk", red faces sure but never drunk drunk. On the other hand drunk people are everywhere on those all inclusive resorts.

I'm wondering if heat really has effect on this coronavirus. Trump and others have said the infection spread should reduce and die down come warmer Spring and hot Summer weather. But places like Singapore, Egypt, and Iran are hot as crap. And the virus is spreading like wildfire in Iran and likely in Egypt. I think the world is likely screwed until we develop a vaccine.

It won't - not to any major significant degree at least.

The southern countries that are in summer right now aren't reporting because they are crap countries. The southern countries that ARE first world countries (Australia, New Zealand - even South Africa) have all reported cases. Do you honestly think the majority of LATAM have the logistics/media to diagnose and test their outbreaks? Not a shot in hell.

"South by southwest" I believe is what it stands for... Happens in Austin TX.

Hipster gathering festival, might as well call it a hipster version of hipster woodstock... But yeah, it's pretty long and lots of money around it typically.

Mose of LATAM is not really wealthy enough to be traveling all over so their might not be much of exposure there.

It’s far more important than that. It’s the most important event for budding musicians to make connections and get noticed by the music industry.

A vaccine may be our best hope, especially if this mutates much. I hear there are two strains already. Hopefully (is this realistic???) a vaccine can be developed that will be effective against multiple strains. Otherwise, they may have to keep redeveloping vaccines to cover all strains.

AFAIK this is already the most serious corona virus ever. SARS was way nothing compared to this so a vaccine wasn't, it died out first.
It still makes sense to research vaccines for this exact reason. The virus that causes COVID-19 is literally SARS-CoV-2.

The original test SARS vaccine was actually found to make SARS more deadly in mice, so hopefully they do better this time.
Almost 20 years of research development and faster computers....plus, many firms wanting to come to market with a vaccine. I'm sure there are companies scrambling for the sake of humanity and being way more rich.

It's winter in Iran. Just looked at the weather in Tehran, it's 48 F right now.
