Me too, man. I worry about my dad as well. He's in his early 70's...had heart bypass surgery about 22 years ago (at an early age)... His body just doesn't run as efficiently as it used to and I can tell something like this could do some damage if he's not ready for it.OK lol. I'm mostly worried about my young kids. The one silver lining in this whole thing has been that ages 0-10 have barely been affected.
Docs do say they think once you get it, you're basically immune from the current strain. The DNA of the virus has been identical in quite a few tests, so at least we have that. If they can get a vaccine, I'm hoping this will help thwart the disease in the future, but there has to be enough $$ reasons for a manufacturer to jump through those costly hoops to bring it to market. In other words, the sooner the better.
