Must be nice not having knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing sacks of shit as 50% of your population.
We still have those: just nowhere near the same proportion of them VS total population.

He can't respond because the studies he showed up with clearly say one thing, but he continues to argue something very different. The NYT article said it right in the damn headline (Heart Problem More Common After Covid-19 Than After Vaccination, Study Finds)! I purposely don't care if someone chooses to spout BS here, because almost nobody is gonna take it seriously. But the crazy thing is in other parts of the Interwebs, there is a healthy appetite for these "contrary opinions" that leads people to forcefully decide against a life-saving vaccine. Go figure. So no response to the substantive points in his reply?
Sounds like you're the one who is just 'entertaining themselves'
Open your very narrow mind and begin to understand why some folks refuse to be vaccinated.
Lets specifically take the 40M Americans who have had Covid - a number that might be quite low as not everyone who was sick tested positive as they chose to not get tested.
The Israeli study shows natural immunity is 13x greater than those vaccinated - so why force those who have have Covid to be vaccinated?
Being vaccinated carries some risk (specifically I linked a myocarditis study and there are many other side effects), so based on the above natural immunity statistic 13x why get vaccinated?
- Your answer is "enhances one's protection against reinfection"
So once again, if you are one of those 40M who have 13x greater natural immunity why would take the additional risk to get vaccinated when the science might just say that there is more risk in getting the vaccine than not?
I think vaccination is going be a necessary primer for many people, probably the ones that react to the vaccine with chills would also react to the virus.Just over here popping off and yes I did vote to Recall my Governor..... I'll continue to post my articles and you can go back to your P&N echo-chamber and entertain yourself.
Whether vaccination protected people from long Covid on top of acute illness has been an open and pressing question, but research and polls have indicated that some fraction of fully vaccinated people are suffering from lasting symptoms.
The U.S. reported over 200,000 new cases yesterday and over 1,900 deaths...
At this pace, it seems like 100k new deaths by Dec is a low estimate?
So 18 months into this. Testing still hard to get, results taking days to come back, no at home testing available at stores.

Not sure why we completely disassembled our testing infrastructure in the spring. Really we should do drive through testing for all the normal stuff too, like flu, strep, and rsv.
Assuming the pandemic was winding down in the U.S., Abbott directed its employees to destroy rapid test cards:

Abbott destroyed millions of COVID test cards when demand plummeted. Now, it's scrambling to ramp back up
When demand for rapid COVID-19 screening dropped in spring and early summer,www.fiercebiotech.com
So
Much
Winning!
Perhaps I should have typed out Abbott Labs LOL. But your point stands! That a$$-clown Abbott and his cohort De$hitbag in Fla are well beyond just stupid and encroaching on straight-up evil territory.

It's more than about a virus at this point. With the vaccine being available and effective this should be over but they keep it going. Now it's all about enforcing the vaccine passports and forcing people to install a government app on their devices otherwise they can't participate in society or even buy food or get a job. Basically a trial version of the mark of the beast. It's coming.
I feel that. I enjoy going to Gen Con (huge tabletop gaming convention in Indianapolis), it was online only last year, no chance in hell I'd go this year, and recently I've started to have my doubts that I'd even consider it a viable option for next year.Have been very busy since covid, that helped me to stay positive during lock down(s). But I will have to admit it is starting to weight down on me, normal still seen pretty far away. All the shits happened around the world doesn't help either.
Ironically, the presence of breakthrough infections only serves to embolden the anti-vaxxers. Now they'll claim the vaccines aren't even all that effective, despite the fact they were never designed to stop transmission cold. Vaccines remain highly effective against severe outcomes, as the data clearly shows.WV now showing breakthrough data on its website. You have to click on the category at the top of the chart to see the info.
It clearly shows more breakthroughs in those that are older which makes sense. How can anyone look at this info and still decide not to get vaxxed?
We are past already, using excess death numbers. At what point do we start making a serious run at a million?![]()
Oklahoma. Normally daughter's doctor can return them in an hour, but they said they couldn't get the materials needed, so they sent it out. It's been 30 hours now with no results.I could be tested and back home again within the hour at multiple locations locally in CT. (mostly pharmacies)
Where are you located?
