It's a false measure from the beginning because "effectiveness" is, for some unfathomably brilliant reason I'm sure, comparing the idea of getting a vaccine

against every fucking pathogen that causes "flu-like symptoms" ???? We're not vaccinating against symptoms lol we're vaccinating against a singular pathogen (or perhaps a few variants of said pathogen).
