Trump extends federal social distancing guidelines to April 30:

I got my postcard yesterday. Getting hygiene tips from a guy who bangs porn stars is a bit odd.

Yes on the advice of his medical experts. I'm sure people here will say something bad about him regardless.

Well, he continues to pretend that it's him deciding what's right in fighting the epidemic. That charade is beyond pathetic.

Just remember, no rimming ;)
A friend had a couple dogs, one some type of little mutt and the other a rottweiler. The rottweiler would lift the other dog's entire back end off the ground, legs and all, when it licked its butt. I could never convince the rott to give me a try. :(

That is cruel and unusual punishment of animals.... You should self report to PETA.

Boss's voice said, "Friday, when will the next major Black Death epidemic occur?" I answered, "Three years from now. April. Starting in Bombay and spreading worldwide at once."

Heinlein doesn't always get things right.

This virus is for everybody, even you:
Among the deaths: a 42-year-old woman in Arkansas with no pre-existing health condition (and who had never been hospitalized before, according to her sister) who felt "a little sick" on March 15 and thought it to be a cold or a sinus infection. After developing shortness of breath and cough that wouldn't go away, she was admitted to the hospital on March 24 and tested positive to Covid-19. She was put on a ventilator in ICU and, after 4 days (on Saturday, March 28), she died.

People are f*kin selfish and stupid. I live in south jersey. A city called North Wildwood, NJ. I couldn't tell you the amount of PA tags I saw this weekend. Had a few NY tags as well. I live in a resort town. It starts to get busy this time of year. It starts off slowly and depending on the weather Easter can be quite busy. We also have rides on the boardwalk, stores, etc. Everything is currently closed! Yet, there they are. Selfish pricks who have nothing better to do than to come visit the shore. Even when our mayor said "stay home!" IMO, this pandemic isn't going to end by April. It's going to continue into May, June, July and god knows how long. PEOPLE STILL AREN'T TAKING THIS SERIOUSLY. I can only imagine how Easter weekend will turn out. My guess is we will have a light crowd. Not the thousands that we normally have, but most definitely a light crowd. Just enough to do some real damage. So, unless we take drastic measures I don't see this pandemic getting better in the short term. IMO, cases are only going to increase. Forget flattening the curve. We need to go to decon 5 and prepare for the worst.

BTW, it looks like we are not flattening the curve.

Yea. I've noticed that many of the younger people (40-60 yr olds) who have died from this disease tend to be overweight.

They also might have type2 diabetes, and/or high blood pressure.
