not asking if you use them regularly or not. just asking if you own any.

No (not Asian), but my dad collects those take-out ones to clean his bong with.

I'm not Asian and I don't have chopsticks at home. I don't even use chopsticks when going to "Asian" restaurants. Knife, fork and spoon for me please.

I'm asian and I hold my chopsticks wrong. My friends make fun of me everytime we eat out at an asian restaurant.

I'm your basic jorts wearing, American white boy and I have several sets of chopsticks at home that we use frequently. The Chinese wife might have an influence in regards to that.

Not Asian.
We always have some chopsticks left over from the last Chinese dinner we brought in. (EDIT: Why don't ones from Asian take-out places count?!? To hell with you and your elitist poll!!!)

Chopsticks are stupid. Fork and spoon > chopsticks

Typical barbarian response.

Have you seen his pic ?

Have you? I think I've posted maybe 1 in my entire AT history, and I look like a normal person. Good one

I'm fine being a 'barbarian' if I don't have to eat with chopsticks. I am always amused when I make a comment like that, which is entirely my opinion, and someone refutes it as being stupid regardless of the circumstance.

Please, my arrogant friend, explain to me how you would eat a steak with only chopsticks. Or is it ok to use one of those barbaric tools like a knife? What about bean soup or pot roast? Meatloaf? crème brülée?

See how this works? I can easily eat any food with a fork and spoon, but there are a lot of things that would require more work just to eat simply because of how a chopstick is shaped. Sure, it's fine for Asian dishes since they are usually served in several small pieces, but considering that isn't how most food is served in the US, chopsticks aren't as good.

Culture = US -> food != asian food depending on where you live and what you prefer -> average citizen uses fork and spoon, not chopstick -> back to my original point of chopsticks being stupid based on where this topic originated and the target audience.

I'm going to go be a barbarian now and eat a sandwich with my hands.
