I bet you look sexy with your 5 o'clock shadow.

Pics of you with the shadow and wearing lederhosen while eating schnitzel?

oh I've gone past a 5 o'clock shadow by now, most strands are 30mm. I'm going for a Teddy Roosevelt, I'll post pics when I reach his beard epicness (I will never be half the man he was, however).

I have no lederhosen, but you made want schnitzel for dinner now, you bastard.

also, I'm gonna need beard oil, I know gilt has a grooming sale starting today, hopefully they'll have something at a good price.

What the fuck does "awareness" do with anything? Is this some new-age/hipster way of telling yourself you helping something without actually doing anything (think KONY2012)?

It seems this literally is an empty gesture and not shaving for a month.

When this started people were collecting donations in return for not shaving for a month, kinda like a sponsored run. Now people just seem to do the don't shave bit and ignore the reason it started.

Same here, although I always make a token donation to charity at the end of the month.

Movember isn't just about funding, the real problem is that men suck at going to the doctor when something is wrong.

I know I do.

I got appendicitis one night in basic training but decided to tough it out through the night, the abdominal pain was so bad I couldn't fall asleep. At room inspection in the morning I managed to stand at attention for all of 0.1 second before I collapsed into a tiny ball on the floor, the DI then sent me to the infirmary where I got scolded by the doc for not calling the army medical emergency hotline right away (like I could remember the number for that shit). I know that might be a bit of an extreme case, but if I'm willing to try and ignore debilitating pain what might the average man ignore. (it went into remission though so my hospital stay was a bit pointless, but the comfy hospital bed and all the nurses that was very interested in paying the soldier a visit was worth it though)

Well I already had a healthy mustache and goatee. 3 days worth of scrub on my cheeks isn't much.

My head hair grows fast though. I now have short hair instead of being bald 🙁

oh you poor thing

you look a lot like Nick Offerman in that pic rudeguy. You should grow out your hair go all Swanson.

I'll post a pic tomorrow.

Its Movember BTW, not "no shave November".

You're just supposed to grow a tash

People changed it because they can't handle a 'stash and the bearded fucks just want an excuse to not shave.

If they had a no bath month, they'd be happy.

j/k on the bearded guys not bathing...but I know quite a few that are having a race to the biggest by the end of the month.
