"Microsoft understands and supports our decision, and we hope you will too. Our ultimate goal is to make Halo 2 a great game; when the game comes out next year, we think you'll agree we made the right choice."

Still better than EA's shovel-unfinished-crap policy :D

This is the straw that broke the camel's back. My life has just lost all hope.

Engaging protocols ...
GameCube fanboys charged ...
PS2 monkeys online ...
Anti-MS augmentations locked in ...
All systems go.

Brace for impact.

Please join me in a moment of silence for the Xbox Fanboys...

There goes the only game I was waiting on for 2003. 2004 is looking strong for Xbox. :p

I'm not surprised.
The original schedule was VERY aggressive.

However, I wish Bungie would release Halo 1.5 with XBL support.

That would be SWEET!

We got True Crime, Brute Force, and BC among others to tide us over until 2004. It just makes Halo 2 all that much better when it does come out, unlike the rushed POS' on PS2 and Gamecube. Flame away jack@$$es.

Like I just PMed you I'd pay $50 for a halo patch that gets it online. Through a few extra "games" into it or levels and WHOA.

Bungie has stated there has never been a Halo 1.5

I hate to break it to you, but when games go into development for a long time, they generally suck or never come out. (ahem, Messiah and Duke Nukem Forever)
