Now is the winter of my discontent...

Not if you find someone to keep you warm.

Do try to keep busy though...

I do have the unlimited 2 out at BB...only working part-time at the moment so I do have alot of time to kill.

I'm on wife number 2 and thats been rocky for a while. We've been doing OK recently, but I never know when it's going to get bad again.

After the divorce from my first wife it was hell for a couple of years, but that was cause she was a total b1tch and wanted to wreck my life, but that settled down when she met someone (they are now married and we get along pretty well).

Sorry for the pain, but time will heal the wound and you'll feel better after a while.

My parents are going through that right now. They're both in thier mid '50s, married for something like 30-35 years. to me it seems like neither is in a position to live on thier own. Right now my mom's living in the house and my dad in a travel trailer beside the garage. Not an easy thing for anyone to go through.

sorry to hear that. give it some time and hopefully things will look up.

btw, single life rocks!

It's the quietness that gets me. I relished the quiet times when I was with her, but now it just seems weird.

Solution?

Move on. The more you dwell the worse you feel. I've known and seen too many guys who act suicidal and depressed because they lose their wives. I know this guy who just went through a divorce and has become a chain smoker and alcoholic now. It's pathetic.

you shouldn't be sad, should be glad to get rid of her... time for you to pick up some hot young chicks.

it's same 1 year in virginia. maybe i'll experience that soon. my wife's spending habit is astronomical.

Used to smoke, no way I'm going back to that. My father was an alcoholic, but I rarely drink...but of course tonight...Ron Bacardi pwns me

Dude, there is plenty of good beer and cute women here in Durham.
It's not a solution, just something to take your mind off of her and the situation.

Did you get a new career yet? (BTW, how good are you on Lotus Notes Admin)

Interviewed at IBM Software division yesterday, level 2/3 SAN support...

I'm thinking I should become a professional interviewer. I know enough about Lotus Notes to know it sucks and 90% of users hate it.

yes, saw many a babe at Francesca's last night
