Nikon Coolpix 800 $109 shipped -DEAD DEAL

The finepix and the coolpix are both out of stock. They have been for at least 6 hours, and since they are limited I doubt they will come back in stock.

I ordered around 4 PM Central time and I have yet to receive an email confirmation and they haven't charged my CC either. I guess I am SOL on the deal. Oh well, I've still got $199 880 to play with.

Where do you guys see OOS on the Fuji 2400? I added it to my basket, finished the process and got a message saying I'll receive confirmation within 24 hours (this is at 8:30AM, Tues). No where did I see an "out of stock" message. Did I miss something? Total w/shipping for me came to $51 (sure hope it goes through). BTW, I've owned the Coolpix 800 for a couple of years and the only knock I have against it is the weak flash. It's only good for under 8 or 9 feet (or thereabouts).

The 800 is one of the best ever made. It sold for $550 when it came out.

I print 8x10? high quality prints with it.

It can take up to 256MB flash card. (Comes with 8MB card).

Draw backs:

Only x2.5 zoom.

Serial transfer very slow (need to get $15 USB card reader).

Eats batteries like there is no tomorrow.

But for the price it is probably the best deal currently on the market.

Some of them are the same, but I doubt the cleareance ones are. I went to Northern Virginia B&M and they had neither Coolpix 800 nor Fuji 2400.

My order is cancelled. The CSR told me that they were hit hard yesterday because of the digital camera special and most people won't get their Nikon 800. I am one of them....

I placed an order for the Coolpix 800 immediately after the deal was posted and I got no Email confirmation. I decided to call last night around 10:45 pm and spoke to a CSR who said that my order had been canceled. He couldn't explain why, but just said that it had. He asked me if I wanted to place the order with him again on the phone and I did. Part of me doubts though that I ill ever be seeing this pretty little camera. I still have not received confirmation of that order. I will now probably to do a pricematch somewhere. Can comeone tell me how that AMEX pricematch works? Are they pretty reliable? Would I have to send them a printout of the webpage? THank you.

I called and my Coolpix 800 order was cancelled, but my Sony DSC-P1 order is comfirmed. It's on back order though. He said it will ship in 2 weeks or so. 252 is way more than 109 but it is 3.4 megapixel and the reviews are good. I'm happy I am getting at least part of my order.
