Great points, CaptnKirk; the truth is rather, shocking.

And people wonder why the Bush regime has so many enemies.

Since they haven't discovered the smoking gun yet the White House has begun to downplay the WMD angle. They may still find some but it looks as if there was a major shift in the world after 911 and WMD was a bit of smokescreen to make changes in the middle east.

Yeah, those pesky WMD really aren't that important. Just a nice, tidy excuse. This administration simply has no backbone. God forbid that anyone admit that they might be wrong.

I don't think they were wrong to oust Saddam and I really don't care that there finding tons of WMD. The thing that is the most shocking to the liberals is that they didn't just fly in a couple of barrels of VX gas, you know since the Bush Reigme is so evil. :)

I just hope we don't find WMD's in a worse place than Iraq, i.e. in the hands of some sleeper cell in the US. Its not really in anyones best interest if we DON'T find them in Iraq. It means they went somewhere. We know they were there at some point. They admitted that themselves. If they got rid of them, hopefully we'll find evidence of how they did it, sadly that was all Saddam had to show us. I would prefer to find evidence of how they got rid of them, at least they don't exist anymore.

Actually I do not hate Bush, that would certainly be a waste of my energy. Actually I kinda found Bush pretty darn charming up until he went to the United Nations and forced his aggression on the world. Saying S#IT like if no one else is gonna disarm Iraq then WE (the US) will alone. That's talking like a terrorist and spewing out propoganda of evidence that was found to be "created" and untrue.

What I say is based upon my research and perception and gut-instincts of what has happened, and I comment appropriately to the best of my knowledge. Simple as that.

I can't help that the cold hard facts and actions of the past year have added up to the SHAM of the century.

You're right, it is the biggest sham of the century. Iraq has never intended nor tried to get WMD. We should have never even bothered with the original inspections process. The UN should have just dropped the sanctions and ignored Saddam once he was pushed out of Kuwait. He is an honorable man with a rational thought process... even if he had chemical/biological/nuclear weapons he would have never used them on innocent people because he is not insane. All his actions were in the best interest of the civilians.

oh wait nm....

Who cares if Saddam promised to destroy the weapons we have proof that he had and provide the evidence that they were destroyed, but has not done so. We should have just left Saddam alone because Bush is satan reincarnated!

I wonder if the 'solid' evidence of WMD that President Bush said he had back in December wasn't quite as 'solid' as he thought.

I thought the solid evidence that they had were the forged uranium transfer documents. ;)

Don't be stupid. Everyone knows the 'solid' evidence was a satellite photo of truck.

We went in to find out if he did or did not possess WMD and ended up liberating millions of people. I dont know about you but i think we did a pretty damn good job.

One has to wonder at this point if this is another case of rope-a-dope. Is the Admin holding back as to make its opponents look like fools again.

We absolutely did not go in to "find out". The U.S. government had "proof" that they wouldn't reveal.

Example?

Look back a couple weeks and look how the media jumped all over a "failed" war plan.
Was this a case of military misinformation?
Was it a case of the admin messing with the press?
Was it a case of an eager liberal press jumping on sources without proper credentials.

I cant say which one it is, but the press should be careful.

This is not the first time the press has eagerly jumped on this administartion only to look like fools in the end.

No it's not, but how was the admin holding anything back? The press did a pretty good job of making itself look like fools, they didn't have any help from the admin.

Unfortunately this isn't limited to just conservative Americans riding patriotism. You also have the sheep riding ignorance, not a group one should underestimate.

And people (the apparent conservatives and friends of the Bush REGIME) yell at me around here for having the balls to stand up and question what is going on.

Blix, I mean Rumsfeld is pleading for more time to find the WMD. He also said that we never thought we'd find them, but that by liberating the Iraqi people they would find them for us. War is peace.

Why don't you quote Rumsfeld accurately instead of just picking out the part that suits your purpose?

That's all the talk show host said on the radio. It wasn't what I picked out, it's what he picked out.

Naturally Rummy tells us only the part he wants to tell us too. :D

Rummy provides the opportunity to select that which fits whatever position one supports... if you break it into pieces... but, no glue can repair the humpty dumpty fall..

Was this just a war to get the guy killed who tried to kill his daddy ?

How many of ours died in the process?

How many of theirs?

Who would of thunk it? ;)
