Since they haven't discovered the smoking gun yet the White House has begun to downplay the WMD angle. They may still find some but it looks as if there was a major shift in the world after 911 and WMD was a bit of smokescreen to make changes in the middle east.
Yeah, those pesky WMD really aren't that important. Just a nice, tidy excuse. This administration simply has no backbone. God forbid that anyone admit that they might be wrong.

you hate bush,. woo woo
Actually I do not hate Bush, that would certainly be a waste of my energy. Actually I kinda found Bush pretty darn charming up until he went to the United Nations and forced his aggression on the world. Saying S#IT like if no one else is gonna disarm Iraq then WE (the US) will alone. That's talking like a terrorist and spewing out propoganda of evidence that was found to be "created" and untrue.
What I say is based upon my research and perception and gut-instincts of what has happened, and I comment appropriately to the best of my knowledge. Simple as that.
I can't help that the cold hard facts and actions of the past year have added up to the SHAM of the century.

I wonder if the 'solid' evidence of WMD that President Bush said he had back in December wasn't quite as 'solid' as he thought.

I thought the solid evidence that they had were the forged uranium transfer documents.![]()

We went in to find out if he did or did not possess WMD and ended up liberating millions of people. I dont know about you but i think we did a pretty damn good job.

One has to wonder at this point if this is another case of rope-a-dope. Is the Admin holding back as to make its opponents look like fools again.

Example?
Look back a couple weeks and look how the media jumped all over a "failed" war plan.
Was this a case of military misinformation?
Was it a case of the admin messing with the press?
Was it a case of an eager liberal press jumping on sources without proper credentials.
I cant say which one it is, but the press should be careful.
This is not the first time the press has eagerly jumped on this administartion only to look like fools in the end.

No it's not, but how was the admin holding anything back? The press did a pretty good job of making itself look like fools, they didn't have any help from the admin.

GOD!!!!! I cant believe Conervative Americans riding on their high of misplaced patriotism, can trust this administration who has lied to us about the reasons to for going to war, that secretly passed laws to curb our civil liberties while the public was distracted by the previous war, and whose ultra secretive vice president single handly controls the release of classified information.
:disgust:
Sorry to go off in a rant here... but the bullshit feed to us by Bush Co. and all every news organizations has made me completely sick to my stomach.

Unfortunately this isn't limited to just conservative Americans riding patriotism. You also have the sheep riding ignorance, not a group one should underestimate.

Blix, I mean Rumsfeld is pleading for more time to find the WMD. He also said that we never thought we'd find them, but that by liberating the Iraqi people they would find them for us. War is peace.

Why don't you quote Rumsfeld accurately instead of just picking out the part that suits your purpose?

That's all the talk show host said on the radio. It wasn't what I picked out, it's what he picked out.
Naturally Rummy tells us only the part he wants to tell us too.![]()
