After all, he *is* supposed to be looking after the wellbeing of this nation first and foremost, and I don't recall it being in America's best interest to be viewed as a crusader-state.
Bush isn't religious. It's just that it's very politically correct to pretend to be religious. He said whatever his puppetmasters wanted him to say in order to get elected, and he has to keep up the game to get the bonus $$ when the game is over (in 2 years).
