lol @ Heatley clearly yelling "that's fucked up," or something. Not a great call, but they owed the Wings at least two.

Wings look like shit even though they're up 1-0.

They can't collect a pass if their life depended on it. They can't make a pass around someone.

They are going to look a lot better down the road.

Ya they are rusty, looked like total crap in the first 10 minutes. SJ would be doing them a favor by starting a few fights. Get the adrenaline pumping again.

Got a little worried during that two minute pressure play San Jose had. But we weathered the storm.

Phantom penalties are back!
Good thing the refs didn't fall for Boyle's dive near the end of the period. SJ players are starting their shit again, the refs need to start calling these dives.

EDIT: with all that said Detroit has no one to blame but themselves if they lose. We didn't get that second goal when we had the lead and let SJ carry the play for far to long in this game.

It's kinda scary the way they're calling this game. Like they want to prove who is in charge, like in the first month of the season. Come on gang, this isn't an October game.

If they want to make stuff up like this, there is not much the wings can do but skate away.

It is interesting how the Sharks can go for months without anybody saying anything about diving, but once the Wings are involved, everybody on the Sharks is an olympic diver.

Seriously. The only time I hear complaints about diving from the Sharks is when the Wings are playing the Sharks.

Because thats all the sharks can do against the wings, dive.

And that slashing call... where the f did that come from?

Uhhh did you see Bertuzzi's penalty, along with Boyles dive late in the thrid?
For how bad Pavelski made the look hit he sure did come out just fine, hell he was even on the PP to start.

EDIT: Even Kieth Jones who seems like he hates the Wings said he sold that.

Even if he did embellish that, it doesn't change that the hit was somewhat from behind and straight into the boards.

Make sure you hold your mouth, and skate around like your hurt until the ref sees it.
Well, he actually was hurt it turns out...

It is hard to take all these diving accusations seriously when it only comes against the Wings. 6 games against LA, not one mention that I've seen. 50 minutes against Detroit and everybody is a diver :hmm:.

I will concede that Seto is a known diver though.

I didn't see the injury or blood.

If you're going to accuse the refs of being biased, stop tiptoeing around that and just and say it, instead of trying to put up a diving argument.

*edit* oops I don't think you have said anything about diving. Forget what I said.

There was way worse shit going on and they call the embellished play. Detroit and SJ were getting away with holding and elbows in the corners but that shit gets called, bullfuckingshit.

Sharks need PP's to win, period. PP goal in the 3rd, and OT goal was right after a 4 min PP, the wings hadn't had a chance to change.
