Show up for one of the 4 games in which they had a chance to eliminate the Hawks. 5 points in the first 3 games... 2 points the next 4. 3 games does not make a series. He better be thankful that Kesler and Burrows decided to step up while their captain wasn't doing shit.

Yep, Nashville will actually hit the Nucks back and wear them down in a grinding series.

You could say the same thing for the entire Hawks' team...

And that's how the Canucks have been winning all year. When their big guns don't produce on a given night, the second and third lines step up

I won't lie, I would have liked watching the meltdown of the Canucks faltering in Game 7 OT. If the hawks had won - it would have been quite amazing to see.

Not really looking forward to the wings in the next round, but we'll see I guess.

One guy will likely be the difference in Vancouver vs. Nashville: Pekka Rinne.

If the Canucks can get to him, they'll win. If he plays at his best it'll be damn tough.

Nashville has nowhere near the skill and scoring of the Canucks so they can't get into a run and gun game or they'll get killed.

If the Canucks have been keeping an eye on the Ducks/Preds series, Pekka Rinne won't be an issue as long as their defense don't break down like the Ducks did in the whole series. They say that Rinne is like a wall, but like any wall you can climb over it and the Ducks have shown that with their average of over 3 goals per game.

I think the Nashville defence is much better oriented to stop the Canucks than they are to stopping the Ducks.

This is frustrating the PENS are out play lighting big time an nothing to show for it. It is going to be anther on of those games. grrrrrrr Just like game 4 pens out played them and the all of a son it is tied and in over time.

yup this game officiating is such horsesht. Montreal can't score without the power play, yet the refs keep calling pussy shit. The refs have single handedly kept the Habs in this game, grats.

You saying that wasn't a high stick?

Ask Recchi, he just said it was a bad call. "Berger MAY have gotten the shield, but Wiz sold it". Total pussy sht after they put the whistles away the entire 3rd period.

Just let them play, jesus christ. They called one earlier that definitely was most definitely not a high stick called on one of the Habs. Both were accidental, why call it? Or how about the boarding call earlier againt Boston in the first?

This SJ/Det series could be the 7 game slugfest that Vancouver/Chitown was. I'm actually not looking forward to it, lol. Thank god for friday and sunday games though, this west coast crap is killing me.

Detroit being well rested makes me wonder if the Sharks can come out with energy enough to match. I really hope that the Sharks win it though, mainly because I hate Detroit.
