Girardi and Green already injured by blocking shots... gotta love the effort in this series.

Lots of effort in this series, but more talent on Washington's side.

Does Ovechkin ever *not* leave his feet on a hit? The guy is an awesome player but is a dirty douchebag.

Ovechkin with the deke on Lundqvist!

Ovi is leading both teams in hits, who gives a fck as long as they're not headshots.

Someone alert the feds, Sean Avery is crying to the ref that his hand hurts after slashing Neuvirth's glove after the whistle.

Caps show why they're #1 in the East and send NY packing. NY was 1-24 on the Power Play and couldn't break through WASH's #2 PK, not to mention Neuvirth's great netminding. Still not sold on Neuvy but a better offense next round will be the real test.

Caps will get stronger with the extra time off for Green, Wideman, and Knuble.

Watch it again, he clearly is trying to hit him with a jab while the stick was in both of his hands because he was frustrated. It wasn't some pre-meditated attempt to hit him in the head with the stick.

I have watched it. A jab is a quick punch with a hand extending straight from the body. Tootoo clearly had his hand on his stick. You say it wasn't pre-meditated yet Tootoo came from the blue line and missed Lydman's head only because Lydman saw it and ducked at the last second. He still made contact with Lydman. How is that not pre-meditated attempt to hit him in the head? Can we get a consensus on this because clearly SP33Demon doesn't know how to watch it without Predator glasses?

Are you a homer or something? The palm of Tootoo's left glove grazed Lydman's head because he ducked under the (sucker) punch.

I couldn't care less who wins but I'm predicting the Preds will win because they have better defense. Obviously you're viewing it through rose colored glasses, you can still punch with the stick in your hands. You're making it out to be something way more than what it was, an attempted sucker punch that missed.

Caps finish of the Rangers...not surprised...the better team won.

I was asleep & missed the TB-Pit game, but good to see the talent on the Lightning finally woke up...they gotta do the same for another two straight games though...

This is the first non-Wings game I've watched this playoffs, and I'm rather enjoying it. I don't know how nobody scored in that OT, crazy chances. Boston had more chances but was more lucky at the same time.

I also hope Chara gets punched in the mouth.

You're missing a hell of a lot of great series. I'm really enjoying the Sabres/Flyers series. The Lightning have a special place in my heart because of Stevie Y, and the Boston/Montreal series is just old school rivalry fun. Like I posted here before I'm shocked that Chicago has taken a commanding 2-3 series lead. Some compelling series out there to watch.

Yea, the Playoffs have been fantastic so far. I don't know how the NHL playoffs are immensely more popular! This is by far the best playoffs of any sport. By far!
