I hate Pittsburgh and their fans. I'm also a Bengals fan. You don't come to a stadium and cheer/celebrate when a player gets injured (Carson Palmer). They played dirty here (gauging T.J.'s eyes, not letting him stand up in the end zone... Troy Palo not getting ejected from the game when he threw the football in our player's face...) It's kind of obvious when the Steelers ran out of our stadium with their helmets on.

Next time they visit, you can guarantee their helmets will still be on because they are going to have some D Cell batteries thrown at them.

I can't WAIT until Denver owns the Steelers at Mile High and Bettis plays his last game, a losing one. No Super Bowl for you, bus.

I would have a completely different attitude towards the Steelers if their players and fans weren't the scum of the earth.

you are retarded if you don't think players are gouging in those piles every play... that was a clean game. you wanted troy kicked out for that toss? you are nuts, that ball barely had enough power to get to the other player 2 feet away. you lost, suck it.

And let's not forget the other almost interception he had much earlier in the game, where gee, I thought his hands got under the ball. And there was another missed pass interferance that wasn't called against the Colts, which was like 40 or so yards down field.

The Colts had a lot of lucky breaks that game, and still lost to the Steelers. End of story.

It may be difficult for you to believe, but the Patriots lost, they're out of the playoffs, they got smacked around hard, they weren't that great a team this year to begin with, Tom Brady isn't even in the top five for best QB's in the league...it goes on and on, but when it comes down to it, you should just give it up.

How did the Cowboys do this year Deeko?

The worst things I can say about the Colts/Steelers game is that the Colts didn't show up until half way through the fourth quarter... don't get me wrong, I hate the Colts & am glad they lost plus Pittsburgh did a great job jumping on the chances they got in the first quarter, but then they hung on by their fingernails & barely survived in the end.
To all those gloating about the Patriots loss to Denver, they wern't so much beaten by the Bronco's as they handed them the game with turnovers... Denver is a very good team but the Pats really should have won that game, my feeling is they were due for some bad luck after the last few seasons & it was just their day to lose.

IMHO, yes, completely (I am not a fan of either team).
Thanks for your opinion, but I was just wondering if there was a definitive answer based on the rules.

Supposedly he needed to get his knees off the ground before losing control of the ball. At least that is what the ref said.

Someone I talked to who watched the game with a former college footbal ref, said that he said it was called by the book correctly, I lost him when he tried to explain it, so don't ask.

Its one of those rare situations where by rule its an incompletion, however if he would have just stayed on the ground it would have been an INT, which is complete BS. He was rolling on the ground with the ball secure in his grasp, it takes his own knee to knock the ball out when he's getting up to try and advance the ball further down the field - however his other knee wasn't off the ground. He was just trying to make the great play even greater but thanks to the obscure rule definition he screwed himself. Its not a question of a bad call as it is a bad rule. Its quite clear that anyone you talk to who watched the game (and doesn't have bias against the steelers) would agree that Troy clearly caught the ball and had clear possession - just not possession according to NFL rules after he tries to get up.

The difference between you and I, is I don't go into every football thread and talk about how great the Cowboys are and how they are going to win the superbowl. Unless its an Eagles thread, but thats all in good fun. I post my opinion on the teams at hand - you interject your distorted view of the Patriots into every post.

Manning real wasted a great chance to win it all. Next year, I suspect the Patriots will be back with a vengence. I've never like the Patriots, but they have a good defense and Brady, who's pretty good in the playoffs, unlike Manning.

The pats screwed up a lot on saturday, and the Broncos were right there to capitalize on their mistakes. Sucks to see them out of it since I'm a fan, but they've had a rough year. I think they'll do well next year though. Well played by the Broncos. That was a crazy hit though!

I am enjoying Indy's defeat. Seems like the best way to defeat the high scoring colts is to just get in Patton Mannings face all night long. Everyone raves about the colts and manning so much, but so far I just haven't seen them get it done when it counts.
