Internet doctors saying Achilles injury. How anyone can diagnose that just based on a few seconds of TV footage I don't know.

i would never have expected the jets to pull that off

but luckily they had josh allen on their side

The Jets are actually solid in some phases of the game, including defense.

But yeah, I know some quarterbacks that would do far better with the protection he has compared to say, Danny Jones. Who gets 1.75 seconds to throw.

Still though I think you'll see the Jets d does quite well against many teams, Not just against the gunslinger from Buffalo.

3 drop backs, 3 hit's on Qaron and he is out for the season, probably should have invested some money in that oline if you're going to have a 38 year old qb back there

Hahahahahahahaha! Ahahahahahahaha!

This is what, the third season he's lost due to foot injuries?
He didn't start a full season in 2013, 2017, and now 2023. The 2013 injury was a clavicle fracture. The 2017 injury was a collarbone fracture.

2006 he suffered a foot fracture in week 3, I think. He also missed time in the preseason in 2005 due to a foot injury, I think. Those were the incidents I was remembering.

That whole early career foot debacle was a big reason why Favre held the Packers hostage.

Brett Favre didn't last too long after he retired from the Packers...one season with the Jests where he didn't do great and got injured a few times...then off to the Vikings where he did pretty well...until he got massacred by the A'ints then by Da Bearz.
He still lasted longer in his post-Packers career than A-Ron.

dang i forgot about those

i was thinking it's crazy how tom brady managed to remain healthy all those years, but i forgot he did miss the whole 2008 season due to a game 1 ACL injury

So what's everyone's prediction for the Jets? They're sticking with Zack for now but do you think he'll be a competent game manager and let their D keep the ship afloat? I give him a few weeks and they'll be looking to snag a backup to start the rest of the season.

That was my initial thought, but Bill Barnwell said Kaaron held the ball too long on the first near sack, and the final sack. Both plays were supposed to be quick slants after a cut block.

He thinks they still have a chance of riding the defense to a playoff spot.
