Aaron Rodgers may be a dbag but he is still a really good QB. The Jets did get a big upgrade. Of course all could go wrong but right now everything points to at least a winning season and being competitive in the division.
^^^ Basically this.

Wanna bet an avatar?

So.... this means all that crap you talked about Miami was just that? 😛

Even though I've lost some faith in Allen, the Bills are head and shoulders better than anyone else in the AFC East and Miami isn't that far behind. The Jets and Patriots are a LARGE step behind.

That $hit-bird Rodgers IS a big upgrade over Wilson or White under center but the Jets are still just not that good a team overall... THAT is the issue.

Even though I hate Rodgers guts, if I thought he would win that's what I would say.... my personal feelings towards an athlete might affect my ROOTING for them to win but it has zero influence on my PICKING them to win. (unlike some Packers/Rodgers fans ROTFL)

The Sauce isn't a stud corner?

Going from 15TD/14INT to something like 25+TD/6INT will net more wins, plain and simple.

Miami was 9-8 and the Pats 8-9, and they had committed to an established QB(and there's some bad vibes between Mac Jones and management).

So, you're saying you have personal feelings for Rodgers? 😱

Is it the slightly unshaven look? 😉

Zach Wilson is brainless chicken.
Mike White is a one-hit wonder
Joe Flacco isn't that good.

All true. (except Flacco is actually done)

Also true is the fact that White and Wilson have young legs and at least some ability to avoid the sack compared to grandpa lying $hitbird .... PLUS they're far for likely to survive one intact.

Rodgers is going to be seeing stars frequently even during 1:00 pm starts .... GB had a semi-weak O-line last season but it was still better then Gang-Greens is now.

But let's forget about the scumbag @ QB for a moment and explain to me in non-emotional fashion how the rest of this decidedly "meh" NFL team has improved at all since last season?

I'll wait but I'm sure not holding my breath! 😉

As the resident AFC East fan, I think the Jets are now firmly the #2 team in the division and will give the Bills trouble.

I'll give you that it's POSSIBLE, but I'd be VERY surprised. They DO actually play the games for a reason!

Sorry but I'll be far less "shocked" if Gang-Green ends up in the cellar yet again.

Everything I posted was non-emotional. Never cared about the AFC in general nor Rodgers. It's a emotionless fact that Green Bay always owned the NFC North.

You want emotional, I've still got rage against the cap penalties Mr. Mara whacked down on Washington(and Dallas) about ten years ago.

Rodgers always had scrambling as part of his repertoire.

Miami had a leaky defense in terms of PF and the Patriots are strictly middling pests these days, the Pats are the one team Buffalo owns but the other two managed to get a win.

Rodgers had four seasons of 45+sacks. He also posted 39, 30, 25, 31 TDs and 8 or less INTs.

Rodgers had a metric butt-ton more "scrambling in his repertoire" (lol) when he could still run fast! Those days are long gone.

Rodgers has a strong arm and decent passing "judgement" (used to be much better!) .... that's it for his "positives".

Two/three years from now (at most!) the Jokes will be right back where they started or worse and STILL will not have won a ring (or even been to the big game) since 1969.

Howie (Eagles GM) hits it out of the damn park! Gives up a 4th round pick to move up to #9 and snag Jalen Carter, maybe the best pure talent in the whole damn draft, and then gets Nolan Smith at #30, ranked the 13th best prospect by many.

Sure, Carter has some serious character questions, but the Eagles clubhouse is one of the best for holding a player accountable.

NFL QBs: Be afraid, be very afraid. Dem Birds is coming for 'ya!

And wait, it gets even better! The Cards settled a tampering suit with the Eagles around hiring Eagles DC Gannon as their head coach (good riddance to him anyway, sez I) by exchanging their 66th pick for the Eagles' 94th pick plus a 2024 fifth rounder. I am well pleased, my friends.

Thank god the draft is almost over. Talk about the most overrated sporting event of the year. And it is every year. Now we can stop hearing about everyone's 30th mock draft.

It is really fucking overhyped and annoying.

I just like to read the articles after and especially ones about my teams moves. But as an event, yeah, it's ridiculousness.

I never pay attention to the draft. absolutely nothing.

It is completely meaningless.

Nope. Keep in mind Josh Harris owns the Philadelphia 76'ers, and they've been sort of a mess. Not terrible, but not great either. So...welcome to mediocrity?
I don't follow basketball, so I say this knowing I may be looking a fool, but the 76ers have made it to the conference semifinals 5 of the last 6 years. The Redskins have only made it that far once this millennium.
