Bad news.... if they keep winning vs solid teams that means they ARE a threat to win the Superbowl. (which in no way implies this is what I'm expecting)

Nobody was expecting 2008 either.... that team played like crap for half the season.

😉
Plenty of good teams that have good corps for regular seasons but not the moxie to go all the way. Those Romo-led Cowboys teams are an example. Maybe Danny never cleans up his turnovers but improves to Romo levels, and no one should have expected to win it all with Romo. 😉

Saquon being in clean health all year is not a reliable gamble. 😉

Giants go to a Super Bowl about every 10 years. It's about time to slow the pace. 😛

Damn.... Giants quick score BUT then Jags march RIGHT down the field including a 2-point conversion and made it look easy.

This is why actually betting on the NFL and winning consistently is pretty tough unless you dedicate a lot of time to it.... Jags with Lawrence @ QB look strong!

The jaguar has developed an exceptionally powerful bite, even relative to the other big cats (Wroe et al. 2006). This allows it to pierce the shells of armored reptiles and to employ an unusual killing method: it bites directly through the skull of prey between the ears to deliver a fatal blow to the brain (Hamdig 2006).

Giants getting no penalty bailouts this game, deserved or not.
That's a funny comment since they have yet to be suspiciously bailed out by any penalties. The penalties that have gone in their favor have been good calls 99% of the time. Are you saying anytime a team benefits from a penalty that is legitimate that is being bailed out?

They are good calls, but just so happens to be at critical moments.

Peters did commit PI last week. But the ball placement was nowhere near anything that violated the spirit of the rule, just the letter. The ball was so behind the receiver, it was not reasonably catchable.

This game, they called holding earlier, and basically holding is a pure discretion call since it happens on every play.

Holy crap .... that was one hell of a game HOWEVER it should have been over on the interception that got reversed.

Still fantastic win over a VERY evenly matched team. 🙂

Feels good to experience a win. Washington wins, despite refssistance to the Packers at the end.

Amari Rodgers did good as the treasonous 12th man. Muffed a punt and dropped a critical throw. 😉

And Danny Jones continues to be a dual threat QB that gets no credit from many, with no name receivers that drop 25% of the balls, and yet a crucial player in yet another win, along with Barkley, who took a long time to get the run game going

Love that guy

The entire team including Jones played really well but I expected the Giants to win this game.

To me the "surprise" today was just how good the Jaguars are actually are. Those Id10t-fans in Jacksonville booing them apparently have no idea what they're looking at.... but I suppose it IS Florida!

The officials were some real "homers" too.... so much for calls going the Giants way!

We beat the jags and the refs today

Seachickens up 14 on the Chargers.

Geno Smith still misses reads. But hey, he's better than replacement level...perhaps or dare I say...his predecessor. 😛

Wilson is just breaking down physically from being smashed to the turf by 300 lb dudes many 100's of times.

He really needs to retire.... Denver made a huge mistake signing him. (and in retrospect thank goodness the Giants didn't!)
