Smbu "Now we all know why "Dubya" had to get the recount stopped at any cost."

You'r right of course that the GOP needed to stop the recounts. This flawed recount has made it obvious that if you don't follow the laws of Florida in recounting that the Democrats could of made it look as if Gore won the election.

Thankfully the law was followed and Bush is rightfully President.

As for Gore in 2004 (it does have a nice rhyme in it!) I would hope the Demo's can come up with a better candidate. I didn't even feel like voting this year......

We had a choice. Bush and we possibly lose some wildlife.
Gore and our economy goes down the toilet. I don't think Bush will be able to convince congress to let him drill for oil in Alaska, so I don't care about that.

also this paper is assuming that 80% of the double punched holes were intended votes for Gore. If these people were for a majority over 65, then they should know that they had the right to get another ballot. Unless they were completely brain bead they couldn't have possibly thought that their ballot would be counted with a double vote. And even if they had intended to vote for Gore, I don't want anyone as stupid as these people are having the final say in who my president is.

It's OVER.... DEAD, DONE, Finished.....

and why is it that they make such a stink in florida? Other states were just as close, but no one had a stink in them. Bush didn't look at a state and say, "oh I lost by 1500 votes, they screwed up. I WANT A RECOUNT."

so....... in all the best interest for everyone here. SHUT UP!

Hehehe, why should we shut up? yeah, Bush is president. BUT it ain't over... Bush and the Republicans should at least concede that the country is divided in how to get through the next 4 years. All i want at this point is a little compromise and democracy. I can live with Bush if he and his party can compromise.
