Seven years is actually more than I expected. Kind of a win until he gets released in a few months with a suspended sentence (if he even gets remanded at all). This kind of thing goes on frequently, he just took it way too far because he thought nobody would notice or care. What a creep! Good riddance.

It is sort of funny how what doomed him was actually winning.

"As part of a plea deal, Santos has agreed to pay roughly $580,000 in penalties in addition to prison time."

I'm assuming that he doesn't have that kind of money, considering he grifted everything he's got. Maybe someone will loan it to him? Haha

I expect a pardon. It's a perfect "own da libs" moment for TrumpCo.

I can picture Santos telling the guards he’s been pardoned so they should just unlock his cell door and let him leave. Or I can picture Santos pleading that he needs to be given a compassionate release because all three of his mothers are dying, or some bullshit.

"Please excuse Santos from prison today, both of his mothers are dying"

Signed, Santos’s Mother

The release orders will be coming from the attorneys general office signed by Ron Vero, Anthony Zabrovsky and Anthony Devolder. Perfectly legitimate.

This clown is a lifelong grifter, same as Trump. 7 months of prison isn't going to change that.

My guess is his net worth is much closer to 0.

Anything could happen, but Trump usually pardons people he likes or for some political purposes. Not sure he has any affinity to Santos to grant his freedom.

He started his 7-year prison term today. I guess we'll see how that goes.

"I’m not depressed," he wrote. "I have no intentions of harming myself, and I will not willingly engage in any sexual activity while I’m in there. If anything comes out suggesting otherwise, consider it a lie … full stop.”

I consider everything that comes out of his mouth to be a lie.

He gets free room and board, and health care.
Probably a better deal than he could legally swing as a free civilian.

The prospect is definitely on that bent b*ugger's mind, a secret thrill of making new friends in the shower!

What a fucking weird thing to say.

Reminds me of guardians of the galaxy.

His last X post. This guy is really weird. My hunch is he's going to enjoy the showers a lot more than he lets on.

Well, darlings…The curtain falls, the spotlight dims, and the rhinestones are packed. From the halls of Congress to the chaos of cable news what a ride it’s been! Was it messy? Always. Glamorous? Occasionally. Honest? I tried… most days. To my supporters: You made this wild political cabaret worth it. To my critics: Thanks for the free press. I may be leaving the stage (for now), but trust me legends never truly exit. Forever fabulously yours, George
