Doesn't this happen every couple months when a new top of the line CPU comes out?

Nope, my hopless AMD Athlon XP 1700+ running at a mere 1.47 ghz opened it in 5 seconds too.

Guess that blows your cpu out of your water cooling.

1M superpi.... 18.5 seconds. At least they could use a real test.

I didnt, its not sustainable cooling.

The "OMG HE RAN SUPERPI FOR 15 MINUTES ON $500 of LN2!" overclocks are just stupid in my opinion.

While i do envy cascade systems, most overclockers that use them also do "suicide" benching.

Im far more interested in 5ghz Dual core pentium 4s that can run 24/7 than an FX57 at 3.5ghz for 10 minutes.

'cause 5GHz dual cores P4's are possible. Sh1t. If you could show me one of those running 24/7, I'd buy one.

I agree with you but these guys work hard to get these things running at that speed. Give them credit and a big bank book.

My husband isn't A AMD fan but he thinks he can get an AMD to run 24/7 @3.4 on water and a chiller I won't doubt him at all on that. FX57

His 4.3 ran a 24/7 Intel P4C

Yay, 7ghz!

Overclocks that aren't stable, or can't run the 32M test don't impress me.

wups I just check I DO have a 3.2GHz... I wonder what could be wrong? Maybe it doesn't have anything to do with the CPU for this webpage. Any guesses?
