My last 20-30 minutes of sleep was a fuzzy haze of dreams, in which I thought I heard the tune of my alarm... but the alarm cannot shut itself down to the best of my knowledge, it's too complicated to disable while sleeping (I think).

It says it was still enabled though.
 
I am quite puzzled.

I also had, in those last few minutes, a very strange dream in which people were living in underground tunnels, fighting zombies, I don't know why nobody went up on the surface. And two of my friends were cold, so they got a sheet and slept on the stairs leading to a massive outside door, with three dead zombie bodies under the end of the sheet for warmth.

Yeah, little screwed up.
 
My laptop is dead (again? still?), as the trackpad does not work.

I added Windows 7 x64, the tech support guy took about ten minutes to figure out the OS (seriously? It's clearly not Vista you moron), and insisted the laptop is incompatible with it.

Protip: yes, it is compatible, no, it does not need drivers. But okay, I'll humor you, because nothing else is getting me anywhere.
 
Windows 7x32. Hey, guess what, the trackpad still doesn't work, and guess what, there's no trackpad drivers for 7, you idiots. Call in again, I have another support ticket, more parts are shipping out. They're supposed to call Wednesday. I don't know if they'll have fixed my laptop in time for vacation.

Fucking Dell.
 
I put together a parts list for the power rack, the price comes to around $150, no more than $200. Compared to $750 for an all-metal one. Yeah, the choice is unfortunate but clear.
