**Script:**
**INT. WEST TOWER - DAY**
The camera pans across a desolate landscape, focusing on a solitary tower perched high above a vast gorge. Inside, we see JAX, a rugged male sniper, peering through his rifle scope. He adjusts his aim, tracking the movements of zombie plant cavalry below.
**JAX**
(muttering to himself)
Another day, another dead end.
**INT. EAST TOWER - DAY**
Across the gorge, in a similarly constructed tower, LENA, a skilled female sniper, watches through her scope. Her expression is focused, determined. She spots Jax through his window and hesitates for a moment, then waves slightly before returning to her post.
**LENA**
(whispering)
Just another pawn in their game.
**EXT. GORGE - DAY**
The zombie plant cavalry approaches the gorge, moving in unison like a dark tide. Jax and Lena take positions, ready to fire as the creatures draw near.
**INT. WEST TOWER - DAY**
Jax fires, taking down several zombies. He glances over at Lena, who is also efficiently dispatching the creatures. A spark of admiration flickers in his eyes.
**INT. EAST TOWER - DAY**
Lena catches Jax's gaze and smiles faintly before returning to her task.
**EXT. GORGE - DAY**
The zombie horde thins, but a few manage to stumble towards the edge of the gorge. One particularly large plant-human hybrid lunges forward, grabbing Lena by the ankle as she tries to retreat inside her tower.
**LENA**
(screaming)
Jax! Help!
**INT. WEST TOWER - DAY**
Seeing Lena in danger, Jax fires a precise shot, killing the creature but causing Lena to lose balance and fall into the gorge.
**EXT. GORGE - DAY**
Lena falls, her eyes wide with shock. Miraculously, she catches hold of a jagged rock protruding from the cliff face. She hangs there, suspended over the abyss.
**LENA**
(gasping)
Jax! I'm slipping!
**INT. WEST TOWER - DAY**
Jax rushes to the edge and throws down a rope, managing to secure it around a sturdy beam. He lowers himself down, reaching out for Lena.
**JAX**
(yelling)
Grab my hand!
With a final effort, Lena reaches up and grasps Jax's hand. Together, they climb back up to safety.
**INT. WEST TOWER - DAY**
Breathing heavily, Lena looks into Jax's eyes. Their hands remain clasped.
**LENA**
(softly)
Thank you. For saving me. Again.
**JAX**
(smiling)
Always.
They share a moment of connection before the reality of their situation sinks in. Jax pulls out an old newspaper clipping, revealing the truth about the corporation's sinister plot.
**JAX**
(angrily)
This is all a lie! They created this army to control us!
Lena nods, her eyes hardening with resolve. Together, they devise a plan to destroy the gorge and expose the corporation's treachery.
**EXT. GORGE - NIGHT**
Using timed explosives, Jax and Lena set off a series of charges, causing the gorge to collapse in on itself. The sound echoes across the landscape as the zombie plant cavalry is buried beneath the rubble.
**INT. WEST TOWER - DAY (LATER)**
Jax and Lena pack their belongings, ready to leave this place behind forever. They share a passionate kiss before heading out into the world.
**EXT. FRENCH COUNTRYSIDE - YEAR LATER**
The camera pans over a peaceful French countryside where Jax and Lena have built a new life together. They are seen tending to their garden, laughing and living in harmony.
**LENA**
(happily)
Who would've thought we'd end up here?
**JAX**
(grinning)
Not me, but I wouldn't change a thing.
They share another look of love and contentment, the horrors of their past forgotten in the idyllic present.
