2007 Supposedly... no surprise with using the V6... they switched the JGTC R34s to twin tuboed VQs already... i like it though... looks cool. 🙂 Doesn't quite set it apart like the previous ones but hey... if its quicker than the last one... i :heart: it.
 
Yea, and this vehicle IS <U>NOT A SKYLINE</U>!!! They are spy pictures of the new GTR, which is a now a separate vehicle from the Skyline. In the past, the Skyline GTR was the high performance version of the Skyline (not all skylines are the same).

Now that there is no GT-R trim for the new Skylines, Nissan has developed a new model simply called the "GTR" to take it's place.

Its not that its ugly, in fact I like the way it looks. I just don't think it should be called a Skyline, or a GT-R, or anything like that. It really doesn't carry on any Skyline heritage to speak of, except for the fact that it is a RWD performance vehicle available in 2 and 4 door trim. It has a V6 instead of an I-6, it is missing the destinctive agressive front end design, the wide fenders, and everything else that made a Skyline what it is.

I'm not in charge of Nissan so I have no say in the matter, but give me an R32 over this whatever-the-hell-you-want-to-call it any day.

I don't like how they have the lights so i changed it. And squared things up a bit in front.. It was looking a little soft around the edges

I definitely like the the way the previous model's were built. This looks like every other car out there.

They totally ruined everything good about the skyline.
Definatly a poor choice by nissan.
