I think the attraction of the GT-R has always been the performance. I never thought the R34 was a drop-dead gorgeous car, but the performance made it beautiful. This car looks pretty nice (looking like the G35 is not a bad thing) although I agree it could certainly be more aggressive/distinctive. Still, as long as it performs like a GT-R it will be a highly desirable car.

I don't like how they have the lights so i changed it. And squared things up a bit in front.. It was looking a little soft around the edges

I think the car looks pretty good, but I like the R34 better.

As someone else stated, Nissan is really whoring around the Z-style body too much.

Well the whoring around a body style is because back when they had the 300Z's the 240sx's 240z's, 280'z they were all on different chasises and enginesa and suspension, and caused to much overhead which drove Nissan to the brink of bankruptcy. Renault saved Nissan and with the percentage stake they have, they tell Nissan how to consolidate and save money by using as few platforms as possible.

I don?t like this latest mushy, amorphous, styling trend that we are going through. The reason why the R3x?s looked so good is that they had that MEAN Samurai look. They weren?t pretty at all. AND they could make over 600hp with some tuning.

Can anyone translate the link for us? Is that 480hp at 7200rpm and 58kgm of torque at 4800rpm? Does it give the weight?

What is 58kgm in lbs ft?

Do they measure hp at the flywheel (less acessories) or at the wheels?

I think that equates to ~473hp and and ~464lbs/ft.

1HP = 1.014PS
1kgm = 8lbs/ft

I wouldn't be surprised if it weighed over 3300lbs.

WTF??!?!?! It's a lot more expensive than a damn G35 or 350Z, so it should have more exotic styling than those cars. THIS SUCKS! LOOKS like the same damn thing...........why not just buy a G35 and do engine swap......its gonna be cheaper this way.......buy some R emblems.....and skyline emblems.........

For the last time.... It's NOT the Skyline. IT'S THE G35 COUPE GT-R!!!! Just like the MUSTANG GT-R. GT-R doesn't mean it's s Skyline.

LOL to all the majority that think its fugly.
The general consensus is that the G35 coupe is a damm fine looking car so why the different opinions ??

So if Infiniti were to say "we're gonna make a super G35 coupe by giving it 480hp"....you all would boo this decision ??

Looks great! But the headlights are a bit incongruous.

excuse my n00b-ness, but the current nissan V6 engine used on the Altima, Maxima, G35 is called the VQ35DE ? or VG35DE?

also,

Apex = a PIMP, for driving a Skyline :p

IMO, not something worth carrying the GTR badge...

Looks like a reskinned 350Z/G35 with a run of the mill V6 jammed in there. I want another RB powered beast :(
