Hi this PC is going to have:

1 DVD R/W
2 Hard drives
1 Floppy drv
1 Card reader
A 19inch LCD
A 5.1 sound system
A DFI Lanparty board...not sure which one yet..
A Opteron 165

or

A Opteron 170

One more thing i can spend $1300.00 Cad.
....................................................................................................................

Any way i am not sure which one of these case's i should choose:

1..Coolermaster CAC-T05 Centurion 5

2..ANTEC SLK3000B

3..Thermaltake Mambo VC2000BNS

About the case i pick in the end:

1.. I don't want a case that has a side window cause i plan on moding it with my own design.

2.. I want good air flow and if i can fit it maybe water cooling later on.

Any thoughts please let me know.

Thanks for the help guys.

Edit: Also if the case allows place for a 120mm intake and outake it would be great.

I used this case and has worked very well. Plenty of room for my watercooling setup and was pretty inexpensive ( I think I paid ~$50-60 for it)

Any other case's you guys would recomend.

I did some reading and the space in the top is tight when you have a drive in the first slot of this case.

Also it does not have any openings in the front of the case.

And as for the other 2 cases i can't find anything wrong with them but maybe it might be a bit small and no chance of putting a water cooling setup in them.

Also like i said before if the case doesn't come with a window it would be great.

my vote is for the Gigabye Aurora. You can screw a dual 120mm rad to the back, its got predrilled holes for tubing. The Thermaltake Armor case is good too.

Here's the Aurora. Haven't really read into it but it looks like a good case and gets pretty good reviews.

Here's the Armor. Decent case, one of TT's better ones.

Thouse cases look good but i have 2 problems with them:

1...They both have openings on the side.

2...They both are from a company that does not ship to Canada.

Any other cases to look at.

For everyone who's thinking what i was talking about when i said "I did some reading and the space in the top is tight when you have a drive in the first slot of this case", this is what i ment:

Pic of the Thermaltake Mambo VC2000BNS.

I know you don't want one with a side window, but this case is pretty nice. I've been wanting one for a while, but can't cough up the dough. Watercooling is built-in, so you wouldn't have that expense later.

Might not be what you are looking for, but I think it is a sweet case. Who knows, you might be able to do something with the existing window...

Kingwin 424.

Nearly indentical to a PC-60B.

You could always go up a bit and grab a PC-70/PC-71 case.. 160 shipped from monarch.

If you'd scanned down the review a bit you'd have seen the HDs are in the proper orientation, but there is precious little room in there for WC.

Take a look at some of the Aerocool cases, esp the Spiral Galaxies, Masstige or Coolview models.

It does not matter if the HDDs are vertical or horizontile, do not install with the pcb facing up. I've never done water but would consider a full tower with the radiator top-inside. The Lian Li PC-75 offers enough heigth for such a mod. The upper rear 80mm fan ports could be cut out and serve as the intake for 2x120 fans blowing out of the top. A aluminum shroud could be bent up to isolate the radiator fans inlet from the rest of case air function.

With some head scratch'en look the pics over well. Just a thought.

Look at reviews of the Akasa Eclipse 62. Overcool.com had it at $115 but raised the price with their last delivery to $150. Still a very nice, wide case w/all panels removable.
It will take an extended ATX board.

if you are going for silence get a p180/150. cheesy things like windows just leak noise like crazy. and cases without silence features will only accentuate the noise of other components once you silence the hsf with water..

reserator+? no need for space inside case for that. new addon of 140mm fan coming out too:p

120mm case fans>80mm

I don't think any normal mid-tower case is good for WC unless you plan to mount the pump and reservoir outside the case - in that case, just about any mid-tower with space for a 120mm fan on the back would do .

The HD rack is shown on the 2nd page of the review about half way down. You can just see the mounting slots thru the big holes.

PM TrevorRC*AND*search his posts in this forum. He is doing a Lian Li mid-tower with
water cooling. He has posted several pics, iirc.

Invite him into your thread, he's a decent sort and may prove to be very helpful.
