Okay if im going to spend money on a great parts for this new build i want it to be great so i might as well put a little extra and a great case....these are what i have come up with.

1..THERMALTAKE VB1000BNS SOPRANO

2..THERMALTAKE TSUNAMI VA3400 ALUMINUM CASE

3..THERMALTAKE TSUNAMI VA3000 ALUMINUM CASE

4..Thermaltake Swing VB6000BNS

5..Thermaltake Mambo VC2000BNS

6..Thermaltake Matrix

Okay well i like all and all the cases look great but last place has to go to No.6, its okay but not so good.

The $$$ one is No.2 at $155.38 CAD and the cheapest is No.5 at $63.53 CAD.

Out the lot i like No.2 best and all the reviews are good.

What are your opinions on water cooling for these cases and what do you think of them, has anyone here own'd or have them.

Edit:

I can get No.2 cheaper- ThermalTake Tsunami for $141.99 Cad.

The reason why this one is cheaper is cause it does not come with a power suply, the No.2 one comes with a 400w power suply.

my vote is for the Gigabye Aurora. You can screw a dual 120mm rad to the back, its got predrilled holes for tubing. The Thermaltake Armor case is good too.

I am now between the 3d aurora and thermaltake armor case as well. However, I won't be water cooling most likely, and if I do it will be down the road. Maybe one day. I think I am going to go with the 3d aurora. I've seen both the armor and 3d aurora in person and the build quality on the 3d aurora is MUCH better IMO.

I'd say 3d aurora. My only question is whether to get it with the Side window or the side mesh panel?

I can't vouch for this with any personal data, but from what I've heard Swiftech got the message about the machining problems. Supposedly they've been hand-inspecting all Apogee blocks before they leave the barn. As far as performance, the Apogee isn't an impingment block so it runs well with just about any serious pump. Also, it comes pretty close to the Storm watt for watt, something like 1-2c difference. That ain't bad.

that 1-2C difference is the result of the IHS. When its taken off the storm really shines since teh core will be right under the jets and doesn't have that thick hunk of metal in between them.

🙂 I'll stay with my IHS though. The idea of trying to meatball a $500 CPU for so little gain just gives me the shivers.

OP: In general, trying to suggest a specific case to someone doesn't work for me. There are so many styles and looks that it seems counterproductive to offer one as the BEST. After all, you're the one who's ging to have to stare at it for a while. 😉 However, if your goal is to shoehorn a water-cooler into one, you should think sheer size. I've also seen some fairly creative uses of radbox's for external radiator mounts too.

Can anyone please tell me what you guys think about these cases.

Also please do not give me links to newegg cause i can't buy from there, they only ship to US and i stay in Canada.

Does anyone have this case, if you do could you please post some pics cause it would help me out.

I am trying to see if it would be better to get that case with the side window(it does come with an extra fan) or not to get the side window(no window and no extra fan on side).

Can someone with a ThermalTake Tsunami please post some pics of your case with its components inside please any one.

I want to see how much space will be left in the case when i do choose to get water cooling.

how about the http://search.ncix.com/displayproductde...n=3D-AURORA-BLACK&manufacture=Gigabyte

The build quality is far superior to any thermal take case on the market.

I got it this is the case i want.....The One For Me!.

It has enough space inside and someone here on this fourm has it and did a great water cooling setup with it, so i wwill go with this case, i think i saw it for about $99 cad some where.

What do you guys think?

Well, you already know I like the case. I don't think it's "ideal" for WC (I didn't get it a year ago with that in mind), but I think I've demonstrated that it's doable w/o subjecting it to horrible mutilation. 🙂

Edit: If you can get one for $99 CAD, that's a steal.

Okay it is done i am going to get this case, i can't find anything wrong with it and its perfect.

If anyone wants to say anything please say it now.

I would just go with the Antec SLK3000B and spend the extra money on a great PSU.

IMO, the P160 looks God-forsaken ugly.

Why should the OP care if some guy halfway across the country doesn't have the same taste in cases? 😕

1 DVD R/W
2 Hard drives
1 Floppy drv
1 Card reader
A 19inch LCD
A 5.1 sound system
A DFI Lanparty board...not sure which one yet..
A Opteron 165

or

A Opteron 170

One more thing i can spend $1300.00 Cad.

I just got to thinking about the mobo😕, i already have a X1800XL and i thought i would just put that in but now i was wondering if it would be better to do a cross fire setup with my X1800XL....What do you guys think(but the mobo has to be a DFI, for oc the purpose😉?

As for the power suply....i was thinking of getting this one, do you or anyone else know if this is an okay power suply(not some make thats going to die after 2 months of use?:|).
