1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
Gaming and everything else.
2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread.
$1300. Extra 300 is for the Ben Q monitor currently on sale for 36% off until the 28.
3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
America
4. IF you're buying parts OUTSIDE the US, please post a link to the vendor you'll be buying from.
We can't be expected to scour the internet on your behalf, chasing down deals in your specific country... Again, help us, help YOU.
None
5. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.
Either one. Just chose the one you think is best and I'll go with it.
6. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
PC is new. Already have a g9x mouse FWIW.
7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
It is a possibility. Undecided. Like to leave things stock.
8. What resolution, not monitor size, will you be using?
Saw Benq montior for $300, 24 inches
9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Note that it is usually not cost or time effective to choose your build more than a month before you actually plan to be using it.
As soon as the money comes in each week. Next two weeks will be paying bills though.
X. Do you need to purchase any software to go with the system, such as Windows or Blu Ray playback software?
Windows 7.
Just give the best possible ideas you can offer because this will be done in steps. Will try and get to a microcenter but if its not possible I have no problem sucking up the extra costs. Currently have $700 so tell me if I should get a monitor like listed above or a cheaper one or just focus on the build as of now. Also leave out the ssd options for now, that will be a future upgrade because to be honest I really don't care too much for them.
Edit: I will pressure my aunt to bring me to a microcenter to get a deal on the cpu/mobo, even though I might need to pay her for gas
. So tell me the deals so I can pick up a few things while I'm there. I can't wait for the replies to start building.
Edit 2: Saw an open box ghz edition 7970 for 300 which is available at the microcenter.
Edit 3: Think i will go with amd mobo/cpu. 990fx + 8350.
