Holy crap. I was expecting something bad but...wow. This is terrible. Looks like a 3 year old drew that logo.

Why was this so hard?

That's pretty gay. And why does Penn State get put in the "leaders" division. Joe-Pa is the legend of all legends...

Aside from the names though, the division alignments are pretty good IMO.

I don't get why the I is a 1
What's the point of that?
The color is weak too. If it was just those block letters I'd be OK with it. But the "1" is dumb and the color? Ugh...

Seriously, makes no sense. If they had tried to work a 12 in I would understand...

Um. Someone got paid to come up with this? Fail fail failly McFailalot.

Legends? Leaders? Was east and west just too freaking location specific and people got longitude envy? Horrible.

It's too bad the press conference wasn't in the Metrodome on Saturday. Two disasters are better than one :)

They've said they weren't doing East/West or North/South from the beginning. It just doesn't actually work (Michigan too far east, Wisconsin too far north, etc.) and they are anal.

Meh. The names I can live with. The logo blows.

I assume it is because they will consider their conference to be #1.

Man what a joke! Being a MSU fan and student, alls I can say is "why didn't we do what every other conference does" and call it east and west?

God, the Big 10 is just so over the top in its narcissism. You don't see any of the other conferences pulling shit like this. Sure, the SEC may think highly of itself, but at least it doesn't call one of its divisions "legends," or have such stupid names for its trophies/awards.

God forbid they insult anyone.

I am loving the double Cradle representing Griese-Brees trophy, though.

I'm still waiting to find out if this is for real or not. I just don't see a group of educated people sitting in a room together and saying 'good idea' on this one.

The division names sound like league names for a pee-wee football league. And the logo -- LOL! Seriously, who came up with these? The sad thing is that I wouldn't be surprised if the Big Ten paid some big firm millions to come up with that.
