He must be a Wiscy fan for the RBs.

That had me puzzled for a bit, as it should have been Griffin - George :)
I dunno, Wisconsin is always the first school I think of when I think about running.

I don't think either of those were done intentionally though...but with so many awards it's bound to happen to a few.

been bowl eligible 6 out of the last 7 seasons, including bowl games in 08 and 09. alamo and outback, playing missou and auburn, losing both in OT

yeah, so forgettable. I cant even name half the pac 10 either, but why would expect me to?

I think it's been fairly well established how little preslove actually knows; pretty typical SEC homer with blinders on, really. I feel bad for NW with the loss of Persa.

How about Janowicz - Cassady?

Anyway, I think both Dayne and Ameche are deserving, but quite honestly Griffin and George were better :).

I don't think much more needs to be said. The Pac-10's current average is barely above the Big Ten's lowest school.

We can do ACC, Big 12, or SEC (lol) too, if anyone wants.

Yup. They're actually slightly ahead based on those rankings.

I figured the ACC would be the only conference with a chance.

Lets face it, preslove thoroughly embarrassed himself in this thread. He's twisted his arguments ten different ways to try and come out ahead and got schooled each time. You cannot possibly deny that the Big Ten is 'relevant' both on and off the field in every conceivable way. Financially, academically, athletically, they are a powerhouse. They are not "the best" per se, but claiming they are irrelevant is simple stupidity.

Big Ten could reconsider division names

*Cut and Paste*
“Rejected Big Ten division names.”
10. The Innies and Outies. – Brian
9. Rejected Big Ten division names: Autobots and Decepticons. – Ryan in Canton
8. Rejected names: The sweatervest division and the Not-Dress-Like-An-Idiot division. – Kyle in Howell
7. Rejected Big 10 names: Rotel and Velveeta divisions. – Montana Mark
6. Rejected division names: Common and Sense. – Brad from Clarkston
5. The two divisions should be called: “The Big 10 has 12 teams” division and “The Big 12 has 10 teams” division. – Bob
4. The Average Joes division and the Globo Gym division. – White
3. Rejected names? The Snooki division and the Situation division. One is a hulking, greasy, sweaty beast of a human, the other is named Mike. – Amado
2. The Yabba Division and the DabbaDoo Division. – Scott
1. “The division that Northwestern will never win” and “the division that Indiana will never win.”
