I like to randomly muse in these threads. I've noticed that when someone says there is "a ton of evidence" to support something, their ton is made mostly of self righteous excrement that they've mistaken for evidence.

Well if you're born to only one American parent and it's outside of the county then you have to meet a few other stupid rules but I think he meets those too.
Somebody provided some pretty compelling evidence that he would not, because of the requirement that the mother have lived in the USA for five years after age 18. That would mean no baby born abroad to any American woman under 23 would be a citizen unless the father was also American. Clearly this is rules lawyering and I suspect SCOTUS would remove that requirement as violating equal protection. Luckily this is all academic and the issue only serves to occupy the right's version of Occupiers, so it's all good.

It means you can't be C-section.
LOL +1

Cause he'd chase squirrels all day long and leave us the !@#$ alone.
:D I'll be giggling over that image all day.

I'm pretty sure the Constitution specifically confers to Congress the power to determine rules for citizenship. Trying to overturn such a rule on a Constitutional basis would, IHMO, be quite difficult.

Edit: It might be covered under Art I, Section 8, Subsection 4.
