First time I ever heard fatigues called an 'ensemble'.Airmen from a cross section of Air Force career fields will provide feedback on the fit, durability and functionality of the proposed ensemble that will come in men's and women's cuts.

I think the patterns on US BDU's need to be tighter and smaller. The current German BDU is made up of dots (nickle or quater sized I think) and it does a better job of "breaking up" the form/outline of a persons body than US BDU's do IMO. A few years ago I was on a train in Germany and there were a few German soliders, wearing BDU's, sitting a across the isle and a row up. one of the guys was facing me had his arms crossed in his lap and I couldn't make out where his sleeve stopped and his jacket began. Granted the light was a bit dim (inside of a train on a cloudy German day) but still that was some effective looking camo.
