The point is $10 is nothing to a company like wal-mart. Why lose a customer over $10? I left a basket full of stuff for them to take back to the floor. I had my debit card IN HAND ready to pay after they credited me my $10. They lost more money than they saved.

A single customer is nothing to them either.

Thank god I got the hell out of retail so I don't have to deal with idiots who think, like the OP, that just because they have an idea in their head, it should be reality.

Maybe your brother screwed up. Maybe you mis-remembered the amount. WTF do you expect a cashier to do for you in this situation? Most cashiers (provided they aren't also supervisors/floor managers) do NOT have the ability to make the decision to just give you 10 bucks. Your pissy attitude there was completely uncalled for and probably ruined that cashiers day. Congratulations on contributing to humanity in a positive way.

Speaking to the other, more senior employees the way you did was also inexcusable. Who the hell do you think you are and why do you feel so superior? Regardless of what you do for a living, you are not a better, higher, more valuable person than even the lowest retail/fast food employee.

Great way to handle a very small hiccup. You pissed on a lotta people's days for absolutely nothing.

You're an ass. And they can't just give you 10 bucks because you say so. I'd go into walmart everyday with $1 gift cards claiming they are $100 if they gave away free money. Do you do that with your bank to? "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH DAMN IT GET ME A MANAGER MY BALANCE IS $1,000,000 NOT $52! "

like they give a Sh*t

Let's all give the OP $10. Who cares about $10? OP gets what he wants, he's a pretty little boy. His mommy told him so.

I don't think this turned out the way he thought it would.
I tried doing a search for OPs previous posts and it didn't come up with anything!
Oops, my bad, I was off by 10. I typed Com80777 instead of Com80787.
I feel so ripped off.
MANAGER!!!

OP you are indeed the scum of the earth.

Once you get the reciept for the giftcard and it confirms that it is only for $20. Then you need to go back to walmart and appologise to that poor cashier, maybe buy her a :gift:

Your bro probably bought 2 giftcards at the same time and mixed them up.

obviously you have never worked in retail, I'm still pushing for a 2 year minimum for people to work in retail before they are allowed any other job.

Yes your right it's only $10, but then it's another, and another, and another and another which then adds up to millions of dollars of lost revenue due to people like you being a retard.

Whatever all I can say is that if I was the cashier I would have just credited $10 for good customer service.

And you would have lost your job because you were stupid enough to believe a scammer.

Wal Mart doesn't make money by giving it away every time someone cries.
It's just bad business.
They owed you nothing and you got nothing.
If their computer would have said it was suposed to have $30 but only had $20, that would have been a different matter and I can see an extra credit for the hassle.
Your brother screwing up isn't a cause for free money on your end, and no one here will agree with you, no matter how much the majority of posters here hate Wal Mart as a corporation.

You've apparently never worked in retail.

So they should credit every thief who walks through the door demanding $10 just because they say so?

How about this....

GET THE FREAKING RECEIPT FROM YOUR BROTHER AND TAKE YOUR LAZY FAT ASS DOWN TO WALMART AND SHOW THEM PROOF.

They give you a receipt for a reason. It'll have the transaction with the card number and amount placed on card. INGENIOUS!!!

Maybe if you?d quit being a freaking cry baby and pushy little asshole to the people who work there and simply called your brother and gotten proof, they?d been more than helpful and given you the credit.

uh no genius. that'll never happen. but i may have paid you 10 bucks just to get the heck out of my line and out of the store.

go bitch at your brother, not ATOT. you're too busy trying to get yourself nominated for "pwnage of the year" that you forgot who the true culprit is... NOT THE STORE.

Even if their system said it was $20 they could have at least offered some good customer service and credited me the $10. More than likely one of their employees screwed up.

And his attitude telling me he'll "say anything he wants" was also unacceptable. Especially after I told him not to talk.

Why the fuck would he listen to you about not talking? WHO ARE YOU?

hahah this thread delivers
I told him not to talk because I was trying to talk to the senior manager not the 20 year old low level manager who's opinion didn't matter and kept trying to tell me what he thought.
Seems like in the end the only opinion that didn't matter was your own.
