If indeed a troll inhabits oneself, it will resides there always and so there will be times when it is dormant. By all of the indications that I perceive existent, the troll has emerged and we are seeing the result of this awakened formerly sleeping giant of a troll.

I don't know if 250 pounds is giant...

It is rather bulky.

That would be one large alternator

Whatever all I can say is that if I was the cashier I would have just credited $10 for good customer service.

Put yourself in their shoes. If you were the manager and have dealt with enough scammers like you, would you give the customer $10 just because "he said so"?

Maybe your brother mixed the cards up, or he's got bad handwriting and the 3 is actually a 2.

We are assuming the OP can read.....

OP sounds like a complete asshole.

This coming from a former 20 year old manager.

Areas of failure by OP.

1. Tried to road block the store from operating properly and hold other customers as collateral. So instead of calmly resolving the issue, you put the store's back against the wall and destabilize the situation further. Probably is rude to the cashier who tells her manager what an asshole the OP is so the manager is already on the defensive.

2. Instead of working with the 20 year old manager who might actually have cared and been smarter than the manager above him he immediately picks a fight with him too, so you have the cashier and the first level manager going to the 2nd level manager and stating what an asshole the op is. See where this is going?

3. Then he tells the first manager not to speak. LMFAO! First rule of management, you back your employees. At that point you had no chance in hell of winning, even corporate would have a hard time mediating this if you call them up. How the hell is the 2nd level manager going to know what is going on if he can't talk to his subordinates? And the 2nd level manager is immediately suspicious of you because usually people trying to commit fraud surpress info like that.

I normally dislike walmart because their customer service IS GARBAGE, but this time, I have sympathy for them.

Btw, I have been the cashier, the first level manager, and the second level manager and don't try pulling the "thats why you'll be in retail" holier than thou garbage on me since I have left retail, already have 1 degree, finishing another, and starting 2 more next fall.

Oh, also, I did some research and found that at least as of the 2001-2002 school year you were in high school which means you are at most 23/24 years old so it sounds even sillier to be talking smack about 20 year olds.

i wish i would have been one of the customers in line behind you...

i would have tried to find some pallets to build a cross so that you could hang yourself on it.

or i would have seen if you could dodge a can of beef stew while being an asshole

:rolleyes;

Hey look, OP! You've found someone who's about as smart as you are. I guess dick-headed morons *do* flock together..

Maybe his brother bought a $30 GC but on the way out of Walmart he decided to buy himself $10 worth of candy with it.

Wal-mart has the worst service ever and employees that just don't care.

I was doing christmas shopping today (btw they had far fewer lanes open than needed for such a busy day) and I went to the register to pay. After waiting in line for 10 mins I handed the cashier my $30 gift card my brother had sent me in the mail. To my surprise only $20 came off the transaction.

I tell her it's a $30 dollar card and to take another $10 off. The 16 year old genious told me she wouldn't do it. So I told her to call a manager and told her he better arrive quickly because I wasn't going to move and the line was getting longer the longer they tried to screw me.
So the 20 year old manager comes over. He scans the card and tells me only $20 is on it. I tell him directly I don't like his attitude and I want to talk to HIS manager. His manager finally comes over and is a major ass telling me he won't honor the $10 more dollars I am supposed to have on my card. So the first manager starts talking again and I tell him don't talk. Then he tells me "I'll say anything I want".

So he calls some number to check the "transaction history" on my give card. He tells me the transaction history showed it was purchased on the 4th for $20. I was pretty sure the liars just wanted to screw me out of my $10 and there was no "transaction history" number he called. Eventually I told them I was never shopping there again and left.

I can't believe the attitude of those fools. Why the he** would I lie about $10 on my gift card? Guess that's why they'll be working retail forever.

lmao!!

Wow. I hope you don't shop at Wal-mart anymore, that way I won't have to wait while you act like an ass in the checkout line.

Did you actually think that people here would agree with you?

The point is $10 is nothing to a company like wal-mart. Why lose a customer over $10? I left a basket full of stuff for them to take back to the floor. I had my debit card IN HAND ready to pay after they credited me my $10. They lost more money than they saved.

because then everyone would do it.

so when i go in with a gift card that only has $20 on it and they tell me that, but I say it has $500, they should give me the difference?

wow, i hope you don't run a business.

wow...this thread was comedy gold. Thanks for being such an asshat and posting about it, OP; watching you get slammed is worth a

Why the HELL would you yell at the employees? If the computer says there is only $20 on the card then why would they give you $10 for free? Because you SAY there is $10 more on the card? I think you need to settle down and realize that computers are rarely wrong.

Is the OP off sobbing uncontrollably into his fluffy pink pillow somewhere? He hasn't responded to the past 1,000 or so people correctly calling him a douchebag.

he's too busy spamming other forums with free iPod offers.

How did they screw you out of it? Moron. The point is, there was $20 on the card. You claimed there was another 50% on top of that. You lose. Walmart doesn't need idiot customers like you anyway. Everyone in that long ass line that you caused behind you thought you were an idiot anyway.

This is by far the worst walmart rant ever. Oh, and btw, genious, you can call to get a balance on the card, as well see what the original purchase amount was.
